The New York Mets are the worst team in baseball a month into the season. The front office don’t seem to want to change a thing.
If you’re unhappy then you gotta hit them where it hurts. Their pockets.
Don’t show up to games. Don’t buy the merch. Stop supporting the bullshit. No it doesn’t make you a bad fan. It shows that what’s going on isn’t ok. That expectations aren’t being met. That you aren’t going to spend your hard earned money on a bad product and that you want change.
If they don’t want to make changes then you have to put them in a position to have to make changes.

@CoachMcCartan @Cjm884 I’m not surprised by their record. The players they brought in just aren’t that good. They’re all playing out of position. It’s like a Chinese fire drill. And now I’m going to watch Pete vs The Yankees. He doesn’t look right in that uniform

I recently had a conversation with someone in baseball, and we were talking about how the Mets could possibly shake things up.
The topic of trading Francisco Lindor came up, and a comparison to the trade of Nomar Garciaparra was mentioned.
Obviously, the situation is very different, and I don’t see it happening, but it’s an interesting conversation, nonetheless.

I HATED the construction of this Mets roster before the season & never thought they'd be a 90-win team like so many did. But I never thought this. Swept at home by the A's & Rockies. Just lost 2 of 3 to Wash. They're 10-21 & enter May, 11 1/2 games behind Atlanta. Horrible

@MarkCHealey It’s hard to focus on AB’s when you’re playing different positions everyday and sometimes in the same game. I like Baty and believe he’s best playing third base

Brett Baty is 2nd on the team with 12 RBI and has an .804 OPS with RISP so far.
He's not the problem. He's part of the problem, sure, but this idea that he's the one who needs to go is laughable.

@MarkCHealey Hopefully it’s a minor injury, sounds like it. I miss Nimmo. For Stearns to talk about great clubhouse guys , how can you not think of Brandon? Last year’s failure was about pitching, not hitting. Still not comfortable w these new guys. They’re just not as good
