I’ve seen these bins in action in several cities on two continents. They work. They are a vast improvement over mountains of stinky and obstructive plastic bags. The choice is between bins and bags, not bins and nothing.

i think short sleeved shirts look good with casual collars (e.g., camp collar) but not with business collars (e.g. spread, button-down). even less so with dress fabrics (e.g. poplin) and def not with a tie. does not matter how many '60s NASA pics ppl post. example of good vs bad:

slowly realizing that I think short sleeve button up shirts are inherently for babies button up shirts can be rolled up at the sleeves if you need more airflow—if you want short sleeves wear a polo no further questions at this time

@dieworkwear I once worked in NYC’s Garment District. The people-watching was the best. Many people dressed with intention and opinion; even if the results were weird or (less often) ugly, they were at least interesting and worth noticing.

@KeithOlbermann @HatClub I’ve been traveling a lot in Europe and South America this year and have been seeing a lot of NYY and LAD caps (and Lakers jerseys). Doesn’t seem to have much connection to the teams or even the sports. It’s just that the brands and the graphics are so strong.

Interesting quirk of the NYC on "Seinfeld" is there's no Brooklyn. The only "Outer Boro" that has presence on the show is Queens as a natural habitat for George's screaming white-ethnic parents.

@dieworkwear @urban_comp Depends on the venue. Opera in a church basement calls for different clothes than at the Met or La Scala, where you want to dress up to honor/match the surroundings. Nice outfits here, though.
