@JoeR13 Even if we get the pattern going, it’ll take a while to repair things. Usually goes from this type of 💩 to flood…

@BrianBledsoe I understand but can’t remember being this dry this time of year other than 1989. We droughted out that year before the floods of the early nineties.

My 3rd Boston Marathon and the first since 2000! Gotta say I had the best support crew! Plus I ran just under 4:02, which is my geriatric PR! A long ways from my 3:18 PR but I’m almost 62, so I’ll take it! @ShaelynMartin50 @JFloyd_30 Josh and Kourtney Martin

This is not a political ad, even though I congratulate the Governor of Montana for doing something good. Nor is it a commercial for a big national bank, even though I congratulate @WellsFargo for doing something good. This is actually an ad for mikeroweWORKS, even though I don’t mention my foundation by name until the last few seconds, or congratulate myself for doing anything at all. And yet, every time this ad airs, hundreds of people run to mikeroweWORKS.org to apply for a work ethic scholarship or donate to the cause.
For that reason, I’d be grateful if you shared this. As you may have heard, we’ve got $10 million set aside for this next round of scholarships, and I’m doing what I can to make this our biggest year so far. I’m also curious about any theories you might have, as to why an ad that was filmed on my iPhone and cost exactly zero dollars to produce is outperforming all the others.

Currently working with @RogerMarshallMD office in Kansas and DC, on an issue with @USPS (@USPSHelp). We built our business in rural Rice County and wanted to remain close to the Family Farm. We moved off the farm in 2023 across the dirt road to a new build as we expand the business. Farm has a Chase KS address, new shop has a Raymond KS address. To simplify everything from customers to vendors, we want to be able to use one address l, the warehouse, for all shipments and mail.
Currently mailing payment, those checks have to go to my house, a Chase Ks address. If a vendor or customer mails a check or product to warehouse address, it run the risk of never getting to me. Meanwhile the inverse is true and people coming to pick up parts or freight trucks delivering parts sometimes show up at my house (3 miles away) to pick up or deliver.
The contracted mail route for Raymond goes within one mile of the warehouse. @USPS will not approve a route change to have the driver add 2 miles to the route to service a business that is trying to grow.
Options I have been given.
1. put a mailbox on the route. Issue with this is if a customer uses usps for a return and my business mail would not be secure. Boxes would just be sitting on a dirt road. Not to mention one more mailbox to be hit with farm equipment.
2. Box at Raymond. 8 miles each way. If checked almost daily is about ~250 times that is 4000 miles a year. At 30 minutes round trip (dirt roads) is 7500 minutes or 125 hours of lost productivity and lost time we dont have. Post office is only open 2 hours a day.
We have been working on this since December. Today Dr Marshall sent a letter to USPS Director. Hopefully that helps.
Such a simple thing as a mailbox, has become an issue for my business. It affects our freight rates, insurance, and becomes an issue in one way or another almost daily.
Any RT’s would be appreciated as we make a push. Thank you.

If you’re ever having a good week and would like to fuck it up, just move first calf heifers through one gate to an adjacent pasture. A small percent of the herd will become dumber than a bus load of democrats with a republican driving.
