@TfL will you extend the 11-15 year old Oyster card for my 16 year old as I’m unable to get him a new one due to your site being down. Surely @TfL and @MayorofLondon doesn’t expect him to pay full adult fares on his commute to college next week!?

@TfL But contactless cards don’t recognise that he’s 16 and will result in him paying full fare. And his 11-15 year old Oyster card is expiring. He needs a new 16+ Zip card to get the discount but can’t get one. Please advise what the solution is. @TfL @MayorofLondon

@Jogibbo Thanks for getting back Jo. Bus drivers and train operators have not been given instructions in relation to this. As an alternative, Contactless and Oyster card can be used to travel on the network. AY

@TfL What does he do in the meantime? Will the transport police and drivers/inspectors be made aware of this and allow them to travel for free?

@Jogibbo Hi Jo, w're currently dealing with an ongoing cyber security incident and I’m afraid Oyster photocard applications are currently suspended. Our team is working hard to resolve this incident as soon as possible and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. ^FM

@MayorofLondon There’s no stigma or tokens. Those who need school meals get them yet your ULEZ extension IS hitting the poorest families in London.

It’s simple: children should not be going hungry in our schools. It was great to meet some of the children who’ll benefit from my free school meals from September.
