@StephenKing I too have done all of these things, and I'm a millennial. 🤔 I also have used dot-matrix printers that had the paper continously fed with those little tear-away strips on the sides, 5.25 & 3.5 in floppy disks, & balanced my checkbook w/ the little ledger from the bank.

@ChiefTeef8 What they don't seem to grasp is that so many people not voting b/c of their way of thinking - "both sides are the same", "lesser evil", purity tests, and general lack of understanding of how government actually works; is exactly what has us here now. They let Republicans win.

There is a fundamental misunderstandings by young people--particularly on the left-- that there is some point where society will be perfect and voting won't be neccesary. So they think its a "gotcha" when libs point out the importance of every upcoming election

Alex Jeffrey Pretti was an ICU nurse at a VA hospital. His life, through his profession, was dedicated to serving his community and our country. As so many have now seen on video, his final act before he was killed by federal agents was doing everything in his power to protect his community. Alex and tens of thousands of Minnesotans have boldly defended their neighbors against the murderous occupation of an American city by the federal government. I am enraged and heartbroken for Alex, his family, Minneapolis, and America.

Therefore, like it or not, there's nothing congress can do until after midterms & ONLY if people support & vote for Dems en masse.

@ColeSandick No, they won't. They will be baffled by the large number of vocal leftist activists who were presented with two polar options in 2024 - democracy versus fascism, and chose to spend their energy persuading people to NOT vote for the Democrat, landing us in the situation we're in.

Future historians will be baffled by Obama’s post-presidency. Here’s this guy who soars to the presidency, leaves at age 55 with a 60% approval rating. Then America enters a period of extraordinary political intensity and he reacts by… literally doing nothing the rest of life.

What would be the point of trading a system that prioritizes the safety of white men while harming everyone else for a system that prioritizes the safety of Muslim men while harming everyone else?

@SenMullin @DHSgov Reminiscent of the Stanford Prison Experiment. They were all just fellow students, but those assigned the role.of "guards" quickly became cruel & abused their power. These ICE goons are falling in same psychological trap, no matter whose friend or neighbor they may be/were.

ICE agents aren't Disney villains. They're our neighbors, friends, and loved ones. These immigration and customs enforcement officers are red-blooded American patriots doing a tough job to keep our nation safe. Assaults against ICE are up 1,300%. I stand with @DHSgov.

I'm a former defense attorney and currently a civil liberties attorney with no political dog in this fight. I watched the video at least 10 times from different angles and at different speeds and waited to offer an opinion, which I still reserve the right to change if additional information changes the calculus. It is very clear that the officers instigated the confrontation. The woman initially tried to wave them past her. ICE officers have no authority to search a US citizen or arrest her (unless there's probable cause to believe she's harboring undocumented individuals, not a contention here). A woman surrounded by masked, armed men who have no law enforcement authority over her has every right to try to escape. Video shows her steering wheel is turned to the right, clearly an attempt to leave WITHOUT hitting anyone and steer clear of the officer standing towards the front of her car. That officer had time to step to the side, which is where he was when he shot her. Even a real police officer would not have the right to shoot at her for trying to flee. This is well-established in the case law; deadly force may not be used simply to prevent someone from getting away. Given that the ICE officers had no law enforcement authority to begin with, AND the video footage shows she was trying to escape a perceived threat, not to kill anyone, the crime is all the more inexcusable. I'm praying for the victim's family, especially her children. I'm also praying for all the conservatives who are so unprincipled and lost they're excusing this terrible crime, and gloating over a death that will leave three young children motherless, because of the victim's politics.
