I met my friend Henrik in Stockholm last weekend

I've never lived on farm. But if it wasn't for money from the Common Agricultural Policy my parents would have had to emigrate again in the 1980s. As a carpenter he put in fitted cupboards, windows and doors for scores of farmers in the area. None of this would have happened without money from the CAP flowing in to the area that I live in. My father and mother subsequently spent this money in local businesess such as Super Valu, hairdressers, clothes shops, mechanics etc. Ultimately everyone in rural areas benefit from this money. Varadkar really hasn't a clue what he's talking about. Nothing new there.

There is no pretence in this fact if you actually want to research it and save yourself the embarrassment. Rugby is the 4th choice sport in Ireland, despite your opinion. It is simply a fact based on participation statistics.

Irish sometimes weirdly like to pretend rugby is a minority sport in the country as they want everyone to think they are plucky underdogs for some reason. Yet here is a crowd of 5000 for an amateur game.

Always said Cork 2010 were worst foot ball champions of my lifetime (don't consider lockdown All Ireland a title for Tyrone). Think Tipp are worst winners in hurling I've seen. In terms of body of work and not just one game or one half. They're not good.

@Mike1745343 @o_reachtaire Of course if you're into hurling you'll know about it. Why not try and spread the word to those who are non religious in their devotion? I never swung a golf club but follow the majors, I had no issues getting scores, stats and schedules last weekend.

There's serious hype about the Munster Championship but that's because I follow podcasts and go onto sports sites. Unnecessary to bombard us with advertising about it like Sky do.

I had no idea that Galway were playing Kilkenny today in the hurling until I saw a load of Kilkenny jerseys around town. The GAA's promotion of its games is abysmal at times. You would think this would be a big tie
