@RyanJones It was and it wasn’t if you know how schema affected your search presence. It may not be a direct factor affecting your rankings for a number of schema factors boost your ranking and traffic for sure.

I never realized how much the overall SEO industry misunderstood schema until now. It was never a ranking factor. It just helped get the search features that Google added and took away. It was never used by LLMs - they get summaries of sites that they tokenize - stripping it all away in the process. I thought everybody knew this.

@mikefutia Nothing will replace that because ahrefs has the live kw data and crawl data. It’s not accurate to say it replaces ahrefs. At all.

I just built a Claude Code SEO agent that replaces your $200/mo. Ahrefs subscription 🤯 One prompt → keyword gaps found, competitors analyzed, content written in your brand voice, rankings tracked weekly. All inside Claude Code. Perfect for DTC brands and agencies who know SEO matters but never have the bandwidth to actually do it consistently. If you're an agency running SEO for 5+ DTC clients and every Monday looks the same — open 5 Ahrefs tabs, export 5 CSVs, paste into 5 Google Docs, brief the writer, hope the content actually ranks, repeat next month... This agent runs the entire loop for you: → Connects to Google Search Console and pulls real ranking data per client → Finds the "gap zone" — keywords sitting at positions 5-20, one article away from page 1 → Uses Apify to scrape who's outranking each client and breaks down exactly why → Interviews the brand once about customers and positioning — then never asks again → Writes content in each client's voice — not generic AI slop that tanks after 90 days → Tracks rankings weekly per client and feeds what's working back into the next cycle → Optimizes product listings for AI shopping — so clients show up when someone asks ChatGPT for a recommendation No $200/month tools per client your team barely opens. No freelancers writing content that sounds like every other brand. No client check-ins where you have nothing new to report. What you get: → Keyword cards per client with a specific action recommendation for each gap zone opportunity → A competitive breakdown — who's beating each client and the exact fix → A weekly content plan generated from real GSC data, scoped per client → A brand voice profile per client Claude uses for every article it writes → Product listing optimization for AI shopping (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) Built 100% in Claude Code with Google Search Console. I put together a full playbook with the skill files, brand interview, and the exact weekly workflow. Want it for free? > Like this post > Comment "SEO" And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)

last year, we spent months building this book for our LPs - the india technology review. it became the most special project we put out last year and honestly the thing i'm most proud of. we're now giving away a few copies! it covers everything from meesho's full journey, our AI thesis for india, and how the long tail nature of india's economy creates opportunities most people miss. we also go deep on economic policy & some early-stage bets we're tracking. we built it for our LPs but figured founders, investors & operators would get a lot out of it too. giving away 20 copies at random. drop a 👋 below.

Anthropic won't release its new model "𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀" because it's too dangerous. That raises an interesting question: 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁-𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗟𝗠𝘀? Anthropic says that Mythos is able to find 0-day exploits and wreck havoc on all computer systems. That's why they won't make it publicly available. This brings me to something I rarely see discussed: 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁-𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀! We often talk about 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱-𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘀: a theoretical ceiling where models stop improving. But 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁-𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘀 are different: progress continues, yet deployment is constrained because the systems become too risky to release. If soft-caps are here to stay, then increasingly capable models, regardless of provider, may eventually cross a threshold where public release is no longer viable. That creates a dilemma: • Release more powerful models → too dangerous. • Withhold them → progress, access, and capabilities stalls It's an interesting dilemma because all this hype about Mythos is actually a negative long term signal rather than a positive one. 𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱. Personally, I think the model is probably marginally better than previous ones and this is all just another hype cycle. The model is named "Mythos" because it's exactly that... a made up myth.

The Facebook saga continues: + Hits a home run early with FB - Fails o scale any secondary products + Acquires Instagram and Whatapp - Acquires a ton of D.O.A. companies like Oculus - Cambridge Analytica scandal - Spends $80B on the Metadaverse - Rebrands the whole company as "Meta" - Invests tens of billions into AI without returns - Pays out insane sums of money to acquire talent - Loses a ton of researchers including Yann Lecun - In a move of desperation, acquires Moltbook 🤣 The end result: - Mountain of cash lost and 0 net new products - The company is to lay off 20% of its workforce with more to come - The Metaverse product-line is to be terminated is spite of it being the company name If you're ever feeling bad remember, at least you didnt piss away a few hundred bill dollars on nothing!

@r0ck3t23 Humans know better to create problems and friction that didn’t exists till now. Whatever will build will be for humans only. This fallacy will go down as yet another dot on book thing.

The entire SaaS industry is building software for a customer that is about to go extinct. The human buyer. Insight Partners co-founder Jerry Murdock just exposed the fatal architectural flaw in every incumbent tech company’s business model. Your dashboards. Your UI. Your enterprise sales motion. Your human-in-the-loop workflows. All of it was engineered for a buyer that is disappearing in real time. Murdock: “If you’re not making your software for autonomous agents today, you’re going to be challenged in the future. Maybe it’s six months, maybe a year, maybe 18 months, but you’re going to be severely challenged if you still think human beings are going to buy your software.” Not disrupted. Not pressured. Structurally eliminated. For two decades, software was built around the cognitive limits of human biology. Dropdowns, dashboards, and notifications existed because the human brain needed them to navigate digital space. An autonomous agent needs none of that. It doesn’t browse your product page. It doesn’t sit through your demo. It doesn’t respond to your sales email. It doesn’t care how clean your UI is. It just executes. The agentic era runs on machine-to-machine infrastructure. Frictionless. Autonomous. No human in the loop. No patience for friction you built for a species it replaced. The window is six to eighteen months. The builders who survive will tear out the entire human interface layer and replace it with pure, unthrottled infrastructure that agents can consume at full speed. Everyone else will spend those eighteen months perfecting a dashboard that no one is ever going to log into again.

R.I.P Media planners. This AI agent generated $2B+ with Ads — and just killed manual creative research forever... → No more doom-scrolling Meta Ad Library for hours → No more watching competitor videos one by one → No more "inspo folders" you never open again → No more creative briefs built from gut feeling Just one prompt → full competitive intelligence in 60 seconds. Here's how it works: → Category Crawler (scrapes competitor ads, Reddit, search trends automatically) → Visual Ad Dissector (breaks down hooks, pacing, copy, angles, offer framing) → Ad Account Connector (compares what the market is doing vs. what YOU'RE doing) → Gap Finder (identifies winning patterns your brand hasn't tested yet) → Brief Generator (outputs production-ready scripts and creative briefs instantly) Results from teams using it: • 20+ hours of manual research → 60 seconds • Competitors’ ads, found from over 150M+ ads. • Production-ready scripts and briefs — no guesswork It also has a free Competitor Intel report: Enter your website and get competitors' ads, best hooks, winning angles, and gap analysis against your own ads. Like + comment "ADS" + repost, and I'll DM you the link. (must be following)
