The atmosphere at Silverstone was amazing all weekend, it looked like fans had a great time (ending aside)
But one thought that I had walking out the track at about half 8 was “people really need to do a better job with their litter”. How hard is it really?

Good things can happen - if you fight for it. After campaigning from @pcs_union, today the government announced that thousands of outsourced low-paid workers are to be brought in house. They will see a massive improvement to their pay and conditions.

I’m excited about this. I've been working with businesses and the government on a new Economic Inactivity Partnership to help more people get a fair chance at work. One of the things we're trialling here in the West Midlands is a new AI tool that helps employers recruit those that normally get overlooked. Care leavers. Ex-offenders. Young people who need additional help. The willingness is there. Now the tools are too. Looking forward to seeing the difference this makes.

At one by-election, we did 3 leaflets over a weekend. The LDs were also working hard.
“Do we have to do yet another leaflet? The voters are getting fed up!” I was asked.
“Yes,” I said. “Imagine if we stop but the LDs don’t. The voters will then think we don’t care.”
