Let's look at a solar complex in the Town of Florida, New York that has not been online since 2022. You can see this information on the @NYSERDA interactive solar map. This project was built approximately 10 years ago. It generated a measly amount of power (13% capacity factor) for four years. In 2022, it went offline. Locals told me the developer "went bankrupt." This is a common tactic played out at solar and wind complexes. When the corporation goes bankrupt, they no longer have to deal with/pay for decommissioning the sites. Decommissioning solar complexes is expensive. It costs millions of dollars. Once this company got its green energy subsidies and credits, it filed bankruptcy and moved on. Now there's a hideous solar complex leaching heavy metals, glass shards, and microplastics onto the soil below it (please see the letter the USDA/EPA sent our governor last month that verifies these claims). No company is around to take it apart. It hasn't contributed power to our grid since 2022. You'd be surprised how many offline solar complexes you're passing every day while you drive around Upstate NY. You'd be even more surprised to know many of these never go online. Why? It requires transmission lines and infrastructure to transport the power generated. These foreign corporations don't want to pay for that either. Simply anchoring the panels into the ground, destroying our prime farmland, is enough for them to collect their credits. PS. A 13% capacity factor means the complex generated at only 13% of its potential. So if it was a 100MW complex, it generated 13MW per year. This is one of the biggest scams ever peddled on the American public.

Many years ago, I got to meet him. I had brought an old white uniform shirt for him to sign. I don't expect he thought his life would be spent suppor ting EMS, but he did a fine job of it. Thank you for the inspiration, the entertainment, and all of the support. Squad 51 in quarters, KMG365 clear.
