The current yield on $STRC is 15%. That means to get the price back up to $100, Strategy must raise the dividend rate from 12% to 15%. That will increase its cash burn, forcing $MSTR to sell more Bitcoin sooner to maintain the new minimum U.S. dollar balance in its cash reserve.

@markgoldbridge To be fair Mark we used to sign players who weren’t world class at the time and turn them into world class players which meant the spend was reasonably good. Cunha and Mbeumo have given me hope in that the club will spend wisely and not over the top spends like Anthony and Pogba

Why do Bitcoiners think $20K Bitcoin is so unlikely when it traded below that level just 3.5 years ago? That’s not a long time. It’s not unusual for stocks to make 3.5-year lows, so why wouldn’t Bitcoin do the same thing, especially given that it’s more volatile than most stocks?

It's true that I never bought into the Bitcoin narrative, but I always respected the views of those who disagreed with me and their right to express their opinions. But I drew a line with @Saylor defrauding investors with his $STRC Ponzi scheme and those who covered for him.

Despite Bitcoin's 2.5% rise, $MSTR is down 2.5%, increasing the discount. That means if MSTR sells more discounted shares to buy Bitcoin, the loss to shareholders will be even greater. Maybe shareholders are finally wising up and selling rather than waiting to be sacrificed.

@saylor Also, if you wanted to increase your dollar reserves the prudent thing to do when MSTR shares trade at a large discount is to sell Bitcoin. That way Bitcoin per share would go up, not down. That would add to shareholder value, but it would also crash Bitcoin. So you can't do it.

One thing I don’t understand about Bitcoin X right now is why so many personal attacks are happening between people who actually know each other, sometimes very well. They’ve shared meals, have each other’s phone numbers, and in some cases know each other’s families. Why not pick up the phone? Or sit down over dinner and talk through the disagreement? If both people want the discussion to be public, host an X Space where tone, nuance, and real conversation are possible. Maybe those conversations are happening behind the scenes and we just don’t see them. But from the outside, the endless back-and-forth posts often strip away tone and context, reducing complex disagreements to something much more superficial. More often than not, they seem to create more division than understanding. Maybe I’m alone on this, but if someone has an issue with me, I’d much rather they call me. I’d rather hear their voice, understand where they’re coming from, and let them hear mine.
