@kingslim445 @UJCR__ Eh, this aspect of invincible is just a “sins of the father” trope but with super powers. I think they could differentiate it enough
English

@Johnnyaustin @UJCR__ I would love it except I wouldn’t want him to be invincible. Make the blast take something away from him and him being able to be hurt by other powerful beings would be perfect. Can’t just do Superman. Superman is boring.
English

@punchistt @UJCR__ A few people have said similar. I don't view Ryan as a bad person. I think he made mistakes (nothing close to what Nolan did) for sure but he's also just a kid. I think he can be redeemed.
English

@Johnnyaustin @UJCR__ redemption arc is not suited for his character bc he does not have any good in him. you want something like nolan from invincible.
English

@Guto998518 @UJCR__ I could see that. And I agree he'd probably prefer to remain normal.
English

@Johnnyaustin @UJCR__ Na verdade, eu prefiro que ele viva uma vida normal. Ele já sofreu demais.
E sinceramente, acho que ele tá feliz de perder os poderes.
Português

@Johnnyaustin @UJCR__ lmao that’s the plot of every Invincible season after season 1.

@DramaAlert It's amazing how tone deaf the investor class is regarding the (American) general public's sentiment towards AI.
English

@brankopetric00 Agree. There are some exceptions, but the number of early stage companies asking about multi-cloud in the last year or so is alarming.

This is a simulation built in a simulation. We are nowhere near base reality.

Hawk Tuah recently went viral for her based rant about VS Code’s not-so-open source nature. “It’s astonishing that people still think VS Code is fully open source when Microsoft is playing the oldest trick in the book,” she said, exasperated. “They release the base code under an open-source license, sure—but the moment you want real functionality like Python Language Servers or useful extensions, suddenly you're tied to their official, proprietary builds.” She added that “they even hide APIs for internal use only. It's a classic Embrace, Extend, Extinguish strategy, and people are falling for it like it’s 1999 all over again.”

@nnennahacks I've given up submitting. I had a good run back in the day lol

@sean_j_roberts I haven't looked at the language in a few years, I should revisit

hot take: Go would be the greatest programming language on earth if it had enums and union types. they simplified their way into having to do really weird stuff just to represent reality.
you should still probably use it though.

@jamesonhaslam @BowTiedMarmott I almost never touch the app since you can control it via @Spotify. But the speakers are amazing
English

@BowTiedMarmott Dude
Sonos is the worst consumer app ever
English

One of the best home upgrades is a whole house Sonos system. Rough cost ~$2-3k all in
No more hosting dinners, holidays, or parties with music coming from a dinky speaker you can only hear in the corner of a room
Living room: Beam $500
Kitchen: Move $500
All other rooms: Play1/Era100 $200 each
