Catch and release affecting farmers as well around Waldheim, SK. 4 people robbed a farm of about 60k worth of tools and a side by side. They also robbed a neighbor about 10k worth of tools. Apparently RCMP advised not to pursue yet didn’t respond. So the farmer grabbed a few trucks to take care of it themselves. It wasn’t until a Police officer was flagged down in Saskatoon, as the chase persisted for 1.5 hours, until there was an intervention from law enforcement. There needs to be open carry & castle laws if this is the service the tax payer receives.
