I understand why Notre Dame fans are pissed. The Committee mis-ranked them from the beginning — which is why I (and others) freaked out every week — and created a false hope that just was never necessary. The process is flawed in that regard. I'd be pissed, too.

Their best wins are Tennessee, LSU, and Missouri - none of which, I don't think, is a top 25 team. Vanderbilt is good. Pavia may win the Heisman. Vanderbilt has an argument for the playoff. But their resume isn't better than NDs.
