I had a great conversation with Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi of Iran as he continues his relentless advocacy for the Iranian people and his continued resistance against the current regime. The people of Iran have suffered the tyranny of the Islamic fundamentalist regime for nearly 50 years. Thank you, Prince @PahlaviReza, for standing with your people!

I met with Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and leaders in the Iranian opposition movement to discuss the Iranian people’s fight for freedom. They are helping end the war the radical Muslim mullahs waged against America and the free world 47-years ago. We must stand with those seeking liberty and peace.

@jihadwatchRS Robert Spencer, you dropped those 9 Quran verses like a mic drop for your $10k challenge… but you completely ignored the actual context, the verses right before and after them, and 1400 years of scholarship. Classic cherry-picking. The challenger was 100% right Islam teaches peace, harmony, and tolerance. Here’s the real breakdown.... Every single verse you quoted was revealed during 7th-century defensive wars in Arabia. The early Muslims were tortured, expelled from their homes, and attacked by the Quraysh pagans who broke treaties. Take 2:191 — it’s sandwiched between 2:190 (“Fight those who fight you but do not transgress”) and 2:192 (“If they cease, Allah is Forgiving”). Pure self-defense, not “kill all non-Muslims.” 9:5 (the “Sword Verse”)? It’s aimed at specific Arab polytheist tribes who violated the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah and attacked Muslim allies. Even then, it gives them 4 sacred months of peace, and 9:6 says if ANY polytheist asks for protection, grant it and escort them to safety. That’s the opposite of hate. 9:29 and the jizya verse? Revealed right before the Tabuk expedition when the Byzantines and their allies were mobilizing to attack Medina. Jizya was a protection tax (they didn’t have to fight in the army). Meanwhile the Quran says in 60:8: “Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion… be righteous and just toward them.” And 2:256: “There is NO compulsion in religion.” The Prophet ﷺ forgave his worst enemies at the conquest of Mecca, made treaties, protected non-Muslims, and banned killing women, children, or non-combatants. Spencer’s list is decontextualized snippets. The full Quran, the Prophet’s example, and actual history show Islam permits defensive war with strict rules exactly what the challenger said. Peace, harmony, tolerance for anyone who isn’t attacking you. $10k still safe. Read the whole book next time, not just the war parts. #Islam #Quran #Truth
