If need be, they can have an anti-emetic. I use metoclopromide. I almost never admit vestibular neuritis or MRI them.

This man was admitted to the hospital for an unrelated reason. Unilateral ptosis was incidentally discovered on exam. No pupillary abnormalities or other motor deficits present. Reports intermittent ptosis for months - tends to occur/worsen when he drives. Diagnosis? Consented.

@sargsyanz A "clinical" diagnosis is one that you make based on history, physical and epidemiological context - not labs, radiology. Think erythema migrans, TGA, nursemaid's elbow, TIA.

I’m never quite sure what “clinical” means when I hear (or say) “it’s a clinical diagnosis.”
