I think a lot of people are expecting GTA 6 to recreate the exact same feeling they had with GTA 5, but for many of us, that’s probably impossible. When GTA 5 came out, most of us were younger. Games simply felt bigger back then because life itself felt smaller. We had more patience, a wilder imagination, and far fewer things to compare everything against. We could spend hours doing almost nothing in the game just driving around the map, changing outfits, or messing around with friends and still feel completely entertained. It didn’t need to be deep or groundbreaking; simply existing in that world was enough. Now that we’re older, we’re much more desensitized. We’ve seen and experienced so much that it’s genuinely harder to be impressed or surprised. We don’t approach games with the same carefree mindset anymore. Instead, we analyze everything quickly, get bored faster, and move on sooner. It’s not necessarily that modern games are worse it’s that pure wonder and immersion don’t hit the same way once you’ve lived more life and played through countless titles. That’s why GTA 6 might end up feeling “less magical” to some players, even if it’s objectively a bigger, better, and more impressive game than GTA 5. It won’t just be compared to GTA 5 itself it will be measured against our nostalgia, our younger selves, and that irreplaceable excitement we felt back then. In the end, many people won’t just be disappointed in the game… they’ll be quietly mourning the version of themselves that could still lose hours in a virtual world and feel like it was endless.

Starfield could never have seamless space travel like No Man’s Sky, the engine and game aren’t designed for it. However, I still wish they took a page out of Star Wars Outlaws and tried to make it look seamless rather than an immersion breaking black screen.

I have 700 hours in Starfield trust me when I say Starfield tomorrow is still the same core game it’s always been. The internet is gonna say it’s vastly better on PS5 which is really just a cover to hide the fact they called it a bad game because it dared to be a Xbox exclusive.
