Well, it’s been a good run @badlogicgames and pi-coding-agent

@WHOOP just filed a lawsuit against us. A $10B company with 800+ employees is scared of us, a 20-person team making health tracking accessible to all. Rather than focusing on product and innovation, Whoop has decided to use its newly raised capital on lawfare. In this video, I share our side of the story, explain why their claims are baseless, and why we believe fighting back is the right thing to do.

Bezos paid $250 million in the WaPo deal, so it's possible TBPN is now worth more than the Washington Post.

We're far past the point where this "visibility" nonsense is offering any net value to anyone. Every performative post like these chip away at any goodwill saved from doing good work. Just ship code people like without the identity stickers! That's the best form of visibility.

Mistakes happen. As a team, the important thing is to recognize it’s never an individuals’s fault — it’s the process, the culture, or the infra. In this case, there was a manual deploy step that should have been better automated. Our team has made a few improvements to the automation for next time, a couple more on the way.

I was really bullish on sync engines for ai/chat stuff (complecting with tool calls across client/server, server driven workflows, yada yada) but now I don't think it's nearly enough. The thing that's saving my ass, is refactoring a bunch of code I have to... a freakin' state machine. that's it. don't tell @DavidKPiano
