A Brazilian today told me she visited Europe a week ago
She says she felt more unsafe in Europe than the city were she's from in South Brazil, Curitiba, which is pretty safe
She felt most unsafe in Belgium and the Netherlands
Which is really sad to hear as a Dutch person that it has come to this
She was followed by three guys after getting off at the train, who were signalling things to each other as if they were gonna try rob her or worse
She then fled to a group of local guys to act like she was their friend so they got away from her
Of course one thing to note she was in the center of Amsterdam and Brussels, which you wouldn't wish to anybody, but then again it's crazy we can't keep our centers in Europe safe anymore
In North and South America, downtown cities are generally like this, full of crime, junkies, etc, Brazil of course too, but Europe's centers used to be nice and historical and cute and clean and SAFE!

Wake up, check your shopify dash. Ads are ripping, CaC dropping, Conversion Rate skyrocketing. Life is good in Q4 land.
That is, until you check your email and your fintech BANNED you without warning.
This is exactly what happened to this foreign founder who was doing $300k/mo, $1m in Nov in his sights (he hadn't yet made the switch to a real psychical US bank, like Chase).
"But Fintechs are soo easy." Sure. But, comfort is a trap disguised as safety.
Like and reply "Chase" & I'll send u the complete guide on how foreigner founders can open a Chase Business Bank account remotely, while also gaining access to their best credit cards in only 60 days (to earn 3% cash back/3x pts).

@EllardKing The rich own the government though… they’re just lobbying until they get what they want. Redistribution will definitely solve the issue. Look at the 50’s, great times
English

The problem with wealth inequality isn’t the rich.
It’s those in power and government have access to a money printer.
You can argue until the cows come home about immigration or government spending but that’s a symptom not a cause.
In reality if you keep printing the wealth gap will continue grow.
Wealth tax will NOT solve the issue.
English

@WTPAreTheNews @IgotJokesBitch @LeadingReport Removing capital gains tax increases wealth inequality even more. Wealthy people get to keep even more money to buy more assets and price the poor/middle class out of the market even more.
English

@SimplyJack2 @sphigel1 @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister Because of rich people hoarding assets, your family will be dirt poor in a few years. Do you think that is fair?
English

@JorianHof @sphigel1 @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister Isn't fair according to who? You? Are you one of Musks employees? Well demand your equity then leave if he refuses.
That's the problem with you people. His employees are perfectly fine with their share and if they want more that's between them and Musk not you.
English

There's only 1 issue with this guy and every "tax the rich more" mfer.
It's where the tax money goes.
The government makes so much cash we can:
-Spend 500 bil a year on pointless wars
-Give away and misplace hundreds of billions
-Spend 100+ bil on illegals
Yet we got homeless vets. Areas hit by natural disasters get zero bucks.
FFS: In Cali, the "Tax The Rich" capital of the USA, you got a 60 bil $$ train project with just a mile of track built in a decade. Meanwhile, you can't get cops to show up in under an hour, and streets are COVERED in homeless.
How the heck is the fix taking more cash from citizens and giving it to the government that spends it like this?
Police, homelessness, and social security are totally drained while trillions are sent to who-knows-what.
Until dumbasses like this START with the real problem, all they're saying is "make the rich suffer and punish 'em for being rich."
What's the point of taxing anyone a CENT more if all we're gonna do is burn the money?
Almost none of the taxed cash is being spent on citizens' well-being.
Why the heck is the fix to give MORE money to the government that gives us nada back?
Truth is, we could cut taxes in half right now and have enough to support the whole country if we cut the waste and fraud.
But these little mud leech people don't care. They just live on jealousy, hate, and resentment pretending to be virtue.
This fake virtue based in hate and jealousy stops 'em from actually thinking of a real fix.
So they go with something as dumb as "take their money" and give it to fancy government big shots who pocket it, hide it, or waste it.
They take the cash and give it like crazy to military companies owned by Blackrock and other "elite" stuff.
It ain't going back to citizens. It's going to the super elite of the secret elite.
The goal should be to make spending as good as possible. THEN let's talk about if we need to tax folks more.
We got people whose homes burned down getting $700 checks while illegals, wars, and random unfinished gov projects get hundreds of bils.
Anyone who thinks for 30 seconds can see giving MORE cash to the government ain't the fix...unless your goal is to just punish rich people for existing while acting all virtuous.
I don't get how people can be so damn stupid. Which they probably arn't. They are just little cuck dorks like this guy who get high on their own farts by spouting virtuous holier than thou garbage like this.

English

@sphigel1 @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister So all the employees deserve to be poor, although they create most the value? His employees created the world's first compelling EV, he just came up with the initial money. Why do the employees only get a tiny check and not the wealth?
English

@JorianHof @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister Products need to be created before they can be sold. You don't produce the world's first compelling EV with $1 million in your pocket.
English

@sphigel1 @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister ofcourse he should be earning the most in the company, but sitting on 400b while all employees get a tiny paycheck and no equity isn't fair imo
English

@JorianHof @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister Did those employees spontaneously assemble for a unified purpose, work for free to build that cool shit until that cool shit started turning a profit, and only then start taking a paycheck?
You have a child's understanding of how a market economy functions.
English

@thestarkiller1 @sphigel1 @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister I'm not talking about charity, but a paradigm shift. Why doesn't someone who has worked at a company for 10 years deserve equity in it? just because one person started it, he deserves all the wealth? not 1000s of other people working really hard on it for a long time?
English

@sphigel1 @thestarkiller1 @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister You realize that his employees actually built the shit? he can keep making cool companies even when he shares more equity with employees
English

Musk built Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, and the Boring Company. His vision has made EVs actually compelling for the first time, brought us reusable rockets, Starlink internet access, and, for the first time, a possibility of getting humans to Mars. And he's also nearly solved full self driving (which will save millions of lives) and is now working on an AI-powered humanoid robot that will revolutionize the world. He uses capital to get massive, civilization changing, projects accomplished. Distributing his shares evenly among employees would make a lot of people richer, but it would rob everyone else of the amazing products and services that Elon will create with his wealth that he built over time.
English

@thestarkiller1 @sphigel1 @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister I'm spending 80% of my income (which creates income for others) compared to billionaires who spend 0.00001 of their income.
English

@thestarkiller1 @sphigel1 @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister dividends are a thing. I'm not a billionaire?
English

@thestarkiller1 @sphigel1 @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister not just talking about Musk but every corporation owner, if every rich fuck would share more equity with employees, the economy would boom so ffing hard because of spending power, but instead 70% of USA is poor as fuck
English

@sphigel1 @thestarkiller1 @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister But instead of only Elon enjoying that wealth, why not share more with his employees so they can spend more so you can earn more?
English

Ah, so you're one of these people who thinks there's a fixed supply of wealth? Lol, Elon creates wealth with his companies. This is how wealth is gained over the years. People working and building products and services that never existed in the past, that people voluntarily want to buy with their hard earned money. This is what Elon is doing. He has hundreds of billions in wealth, but he's increased the size of the wealth pie by far more than that.
English

@sphigel1 @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister Imagine if not one person owned 400 billion but 400.000 people have one million. how much more products and services could be sold to 400k people with a mil instead of one with 400b. would increase wealth of everyone not just a few people.
English

How does your bullshit generalization apply to Elon Musk? You know, the richest man in the world? All his wealth is invested in his companies. Creating thousands of jobs, building products that people love, building reusable rockets and trying to get us to Mars. Now imagine how government could squander all of Elon's wealth that he built over the years by propping up the Russia/Ukraine war for another few months and enriching a bunch of oligarchs along the way. Yeah, I'd rather that money stay in Elon's hands.
English

@thestarkiller1 @sphigel1 @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister People buying products and services create an income for other people. Rich people spending on assets doesn't. It stays in a small number of rich people's hands, less money gets spent which makes it harder to make money, rich get richer, poor get poorer, and inequality increases
English

@sphigel1 @MSanchezWorld @ZssBecker @swarmister Rich people don't spend a lot of money, they buy up assets and which drives up prices, then poor middle class can't afford to buy assets so are forced to rent. Rich people buying up assets doesn't benefit the poor middle class in any way.
English

I’d rather rich people keep their money and spend it or invest it, which benefits others, than the government take it and spend it in either useless, harmful, or destructive ways. Our government, in large part, is not a force for good. Giving them more money benefits no one. They’ll probably start another war, or further increase regulations, which entrench monopolies and screw over consumers.
English

@datpublisha Aren't the RPMs on MV Journey similar, but with a slightly better user experience?
