Fact: George Floyd said "I can't breathe" eight times before he was on the ground; eight times before anybody touched his neck; eight times before the Facebook video on which the MSM based its faulty verdict.
Passage Publishing@PassagePress

Today we are proud to announce the release of American Scapegoat: How a Corrupt Justice System Sacrificed Derek Chauvin to the Mob by former federal prosecutor T.J. Harker (@TJ_Harker). Six years ago today, George Floyd died while in custody of Minneapolis beat cop Derek Chauvin, sparking the most destructive riots in our nation's history and becoming the pretext for an era of mass political hysteria that threatened to rip apart the very fabric of American life. Cities burned. Floyd's body was paraded around in a gold casket. Every institution was made to bend the knee to BLM. Ordinary white Americans, represented by the person of Derek Chauvin, were called to account for three centuries of racial grievance. All most Americans saw of that day was the grainy cellphone footage of Officer Chauvin's knee restraining the back of George Floyd's neck. Few bothered to learn any other details about the case, and by the time the trial rolled around, the verdict was a foregone conclusion. An innocent black man had been killed by a racist white cop, they were told. And for America to atone for its original sins, that racist white cop had to pay the price. What they didn't know was that Chauvin's knee did not prevent Floyd from breathing. They didn't know Chauvin was following procedure by the book. They didn't know Floyd had taken lethal amounts of fentanyl minutes before being restrained. They didn't know Floyd had a pre-existing heart condition. They didn't know the autopsy report had been revised under threat of professional harm. They didn't know the original prosecutor removed herself from the case after seeing all of the evidence. They didn't know the subsequent prosecutors had to abandon their theory of the case just days into the trial. They didn't know the prosecution never established a cause of death, let alone that Derek Chauvin was responsible. In American Scapegoat, author T.J. Harker breaks down what happened on that fateful day six years ago, analyzes the thousands of court documents manipulated and recontextualized to achieve the trial result Minnesota politicians demanded, and relives the trial itself in thorough, painstaking detail to definitively show that Derek Chauvin did not kill George Floyd. Never in modern American history has our justice system been so corrupted by public mass hysteria than in the case of Derek Chauvin. This is the story of that trial. This is the story of how a man was sacrificed to the mob. American Scapegoat is available for pre-order now. Coming Fall '26.

@StevePender @TJ_Harker Don’t know and don’t really care. Why did a cop kneel on a cuffed man’s carotid artery for 8 minutes straight. That’s the real question.

@texasrunnerDFW Yes you can increase your life span and feel more alive by preventing younger generations from having nice things while telling them how much harder you had it, even when it is provably false. Learn the way of the boomer.

Once you’re past 35, are you just going to keep being gradually more tired every year for the rest of your life or is a there a second wind somewhere? Anybody suddenly stumble upon newfound energy in their 40s? 50s? 60s, maybe with retirement? Naturally, no HRT or hacks

Yes, improve diet and exercise. That’s it. Eat real foods, drink water, and exercise. Your energy levels will skyrocket. I feel way better in my 40s than I did in my 30s. I remember getting home from work at 35 years old and being too tired to do anything. Now I’m 45 and have tons of energy to do things even after working a full day.

@varrock The same is true of welfare in America. Giving people money doesn’t help them in the long run, it hurts them. People need to earn a living.

We've given $3,000,000,000,0000 to Africa, and it has led absolutely nowhere. We could have had multiple colonies on Mars by now. At some point, we need to realize that Africa is a deep hole in the ground that will never be filled by our money.

Also, I just checked and the nearest 250KW charger to me is 24 minutes away. There is a 150KW charger (which is really 75KW because this one is always full) 15 minutes away from me. This is in the Chicago area where I don’t have destination charging. I could use more range, faster charging, and more charging stations. This may shock you, but your experiences are not necessarily mine. People use their cars differently.

@subsonic_flow @TechOperator I’ve waited 20+ minutes to charge 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Granted, this is due to unexpected life events, but it’s still been annoying.

@TechOperator Same people complaining about waiting 20 minutes to charge twice a year, happily wait 10 minutes at Costco every week to save 10 cents a gallon.

@mliebow @TechOperator This is a tired argument. I routinely drive 200 miles away to a city where I don’t have destination charging and the nearest supercharger is 20 minutes away. Range is absolutely an issue for me.

@TechOperator I have a new Model Y. Range is definitely an inconvenience for me and the way I drive and I haven’t even had it for a winter yet, which concerns me even more. If you want wider adoption of EVs, range needs to be improved.

Do you think choke holds result in “life threatening injuries”? They don’t. You can kill someone by blocking blood flow through their carotid arteries (a blood choke, which is the most common type of choke hold) and not leave lasting injuries. Floyd was also an addict, so he could tolerate much higher levels of fentanyl than a non-addict. This page of the autopsy report doesn’t imply what so many of you think it does.

Ok. Take government completely out of healthcare. No rules. No laws. No Medicare. No Medicaid. Hospitals, insurance companies, can do anything they want. What do they do ? If you were running any of the biggest insurance companies or hospitals, what would you do differently once gov was completely out of healthcare ?
Matthew Bednarik@BednarikMatt

@mcuban @GovBillLee Or just let the free market compete and get the government out of Healthcare. A free market would inevitably lead to lower costs for consumers.

I’m part of club Mad Max. For those who don’t know, that’s the name of a speed profile on Tesla’s Full Self Driving that drives the most human-like. Well, in my opinion anyway. Why? Because I was that human who couldn’t give up driving because I was “good” at it. Mad Max has shown me that it’s possible for a car to anticipate the road ahead in the way I can. It’s as close to AGI as I’ve ever seen. Mad Max is not for everyone. Most people don’t drive like I do. Having said that, it’s not about getting there faster. It’s about steering clear of clusters of cars. That’s where the accidents happen. In drivers ed, they call them “wolf packs”. Mad Max excels at getting out of the wolf packs so that it can operate with as little distraction and danger as possible. Yes, it speeds (just like most human drivers - irrespective of what their taste for such may be, they all do it to one degree or another). But, the thing is, FSD also sees in 360° and has better reflexes than any human. I’ve been asked if I’d be willing to be stuck in a slower “standard” profile to have access to unsupervised self driving. The answer is yes. But I think the future is speed. When everything is autonomous, the wolf pack will be the key to efficiency. Large groups of cars traveling at 100mph, clustered to reduce drag. Like the Indy 500. Sign me up. I trust in Mad Max. It’s the most human of all FSD. Actually, it’s superhuman. The @Tesla_AI team should be proud. They’ve created something that can walk the walk, and talk the talk. Fast and safe. The holy grail of driving.

@congressdj I agree it has better situational awareness, but it doesn’t rally exercise much reasoning in lane choices. I’d say it’s actually rather stupid when it comes to determining which lane it should be in.

Given its superior response time and ability to look 360° in any direction and act before I’m even aware, I’d say any perceived trade off from what I would do is worth it. Having said that, my moves are usually laid out in a pattern that gets me ahead. Not necessarily one that protects me from the unseen. That’s a literal shortsighted approach to what it used to mean to “drive better”. The right hand pass is frustrating for us humans when it doesn’t complete. We gamble on pulling it off. FSD is thinking further ahead. I usually end up better off. But not always. And that’s ok. I’ve evolved to enjoy the ride. :)

@MikethePiney1 @MarioNawfal Once in car wash mode, you just need to be stopped with your foot on the brake. Then a button will appear that says “start free roll” or something like that.

Tesla's Car Wash Mode is genuinely one of those features you didn't know you needed until you use it. One tap and it closes windows, locks the charge port, disables auto wipers, turns off Sentry Mode, silences parking sensors, and gives you a live checklist of everything that could go wrong in an automatic car wash. It even has a one-tap button to put the car in neutral for conveyor belt washes, which anyone who's fumbled with a Tesla gear stalk in a car wash line will appreciate. Small feature that saves a lot of headaches. Source: @tesla, Not A Tesla App
