Ohio Congressional Democrats are upset that I’m working to prevent fraud in Ohio. Here’s my response:

An African felon was convicted of stealing from the government for billing it for no-show jobs helping the elderly. Then Medicaid began paying his wife's company for "home health care" - highly susceptible to the same scam. Ohio has paid "her" firm $6M, as recently as last week

🚨 NEW: Ohio’s Medicaid program is getting BILLIONS in federal taxpayer money and state auditors just dropped a BOMBSHELL. Nearly 40% of home healthcare money went to ONE county: Franklin. Almost 40% of THAT got funneled into just TWO zip codes, all within four miles of each other. Auditor Keith Faber says this could be costing taxpayers $800 million to $4 BILLION. Although nothing has been proven yet, the patterns are SCREAMING fraud and abuse. Ohio families deserve better. Clean this up NOW.

SCOOP: University of Cincinnati is offering students “know your rights” cards. The card instructs illegals how to evade ICE. We reached out to the university asking if they support helping criminals hide from ICE and they declined to respond. @uofcincy may be harboring illegals. Would be a shame if @ICEgov @RealTomHoman saw this!

So, to summarize, "providers" don't show up to provide their own family members with home health care services but get paid by us anyway. Sounds like the fox guarding the henhouse. This is a much deeper problem than the empty buildings full of shell businesses collecting taxpayer dollars to do nothing. Last fall, six months after I broke the news of suspected fraud involving asset verification in the Medicaid system and passed a law requiring an audit, we forced out the Medicaid director who allowed this sort of activity. The cancer is metastasized well beyond that component of the system, and more aggressive treatment is indicated.
Parker Thayer@ParkerThayer

We found that the anti-fraud system in Ohio used to require patient signatures and GPS verification for Medicaid home care visits. Then, for some reason, Ohio turned both of those off… Now, over half of homecare payments are made despite having zero verification at all.

Thanks to @realDailyWire for continuing to shine a light on these issues and highlighting the work our office has already done through the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) audit and recent legislative testimony. Weak internal controls can be taken advantage of by bad actors. Taxpayers deserve a system that’s protected from fraud and works as intended. dailywire.com/news/ohio-says…

Ohio Says Safeguards Exist To Stop Medicaid Fraud, But Admits Massive Loophole As Medicaid spending skyrocketed, Ohio made one of the only available tools to stop fraud optional. More from @lukerosiak: dailywire.com/news/ohio-says…

@FoxNews Stop reporting this nonsense. Did FOX News get another payout again to report this Election Day “virus” situation? True pandemics don’t need reporting/endless posts/fake reporting. I can promise you that.

@julia_doubleday I get your point here but as an older person edging on 'boomer', it worries me how many now casually use this term as generalised slight against older people. It's no better than any other terms we know better than to use & contributes to social division & acceptance of eugenics.

There’s no reason a deep red state like Ohio should have lawless Leftist enclaves like Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland. Ohio should pass a constitutional amendment (can pass with 51% of the popular vote) that ALL citizens of the state can vote for the leadership of the 3 biggest cities, including mayor and city council. All citizens use these cities, they travel through these cities, they conduct commerce with these cities, and they help fund these cities. They’re often victims of the lawlessness in these cities. They should have a right to vote for the leadership of these cities. Open up the vote to all citizens, and our big cities will get cleaned up almost overnight.
Vivek Ramaswamy@VivekGRamaswamy

It’s a shame that city leaders in my hometown of Cincinnati have declared it a “sanctuary city.” That’ll change when I’m in charge of Ohio. We’ll never condone violating the law, or else the people lose respect for the rule of law itself.

@JoelWBerry @lukerosiak A major issue in Ohio is that these cities charge income tax to people that work within their city limits. Yet, those tax paying workers have no right to vote in the city elections and no say in how the tax money is spent. In their home community they then vote for tax credits.
