If me believing your story profits you then you will have to pardon my skepticism. Neither participate in weaponized guilt nor succumb to it from others.

When I say garage builders are not waiting to ask permission or “go to market” to please the VC class, I am not theorizing. This farmer had a need to get to places at his farm to he built it in his garage. Like all inventions it don’t have to pass any test but his own.
Brian Roemmele@BrianRoemmele

Understand when you build your debates about “them” and “they” are not going to allow you and me to let our robots build more robots: We ain’t asking permission. It is already taking shape in garages around the world it will not stop. It is not utopia—it is just not dystopia.

The Netherlands has 17 million people It exports more food than any country on earth except the United States A nation smaller than West Virginia feeds the world Not because of land: The Dutch have almost none Because of water management, greenhouse engineering, and seed science built over 400 years They did not inherit the land, but built it Then they fed the world with it

Jeff Bezos has $222 billion. If he paid my wealth tax this year, we could build this entire high speed rail network—and have plenty of money left over. And Bezos would still have $215 billion dollars to spare.

A two-megawatt turbine pays back its build energy and emissions in 6-12 months, then runs clean for the next 25+ years. The fossil fuel industry doesn’t own the sun and the air. That’s why they’ve spent billions electing puppets to attack and delay the renewable revolution.

@GovMikeDeWine Says the most corrupt Ohio Governor in my lifetime. Tell me he is not lining his pockets by letting his Ohio EPA run roughshod over Ohio's communities. Disgraceful.

@Psihogios1 @jimbuilds @DesireeAmerica4 Exactly what kind of control do you think you have over local government? Go tell your local school you don't want them spending multi-million$ on a new stadium and to focus on STEM and see how far it gets you.

The Ohio government is officially panicking over a massive grassroots movement to completely abolish property taxes. Governor Mike DeWine just warned that eliminating the tax would devastate local schools and libraries, threatening that the state would have to jack up the sales tax to 20% just to cover the gap. But Ohio homeowners are fighting back with one simple reality: If you can lose your fully paid-off house for not paying the government, you don't actually own it, you are just renting it. The state already collects billions in income and regular sales taxes. Instead of threatening us with 20% sales tax rates, the government needs to figure out how to balance its own budget without holding our homes hostage.

Invariably, when I post about China’s remarkable progress in clean energy, some people reply that China’s emissions are huge and driven by coal-fired power. That’s true. But here’s why — even taking that into account — China deserves recognition as a genuine climate champion. For the first time in modern history, China’s CO2 emissions have been flat or falling for almost two full years *during* a period of rapid growth in energy demand. China's emissions are turning a corner. According to Carbon Brief, this milestone occurred because rapid growth in clean energy production has begun to outpace growth in total energy consumption. China’s clean energy boom is also helping global decarbonisation efforts. The New York Times recently reported that China’s clean energy exports totalled $143 billion in 2024 — about 10 times higher than those of the US. Meanwhile, US fossil fuel exports totalled $174 billion that year, roughly 35 times higher than China’s. The clean energy revolution is unquestionably being driven by China.

China currently has 339 gigawatts of wind and solar capacity under construction — roughly two-thirds of the world’s total. By any serious measure, China is leading the clean energy revolution.

China is blowing the world away on clean energy. As of 2025, it has 448 GW of wind and solar under construction, more than any other country and roughly half of the global capacity currently being built.

@jimbuilds @DispatchAlerts Every county allocates 60-67% of YOUR property tax dollars to education. The teachers union is partly to blame. Those taxes pay SCHOOL BOND DEBT and are not used on the students. It’s a failed system, What happened to lottery $ and casino $ that were supposed to fund education?

@NRegrets80 @DispatchAlerts I don't like paying taxes either but, with the current property tax system, the local voters get to decide how much will be spent on schools. If the system is eliminated then the govt in Columbus will decide instead.

It is 3 days now since 'wind power' managed to make even 20% of our electricity We might as well have switched all the windmills off. So why should we bother to switch them all back on again? Just junk them We don't need them at all.

So far it hasn't had to pay its own way. Subsidies end for new projects started after April 26. Anything built, or started to be built, before then will get the old subsidies. At that point the out of work developers will all descend on DC begging and predicting the world will end if the subsidies are not reinstated.

Trump tried to stop solar and wind in the US 🇺🇸. He failed spectacularly. 99,2% of new net capacity in America in 2026 is expected to be renewables, with battery capacity. If this happens solar, wind, hydro and other renewables will be equal to natural gas as the biggest source of electricity in the US. Far ahead of coal or any other source. Solar capacity grew 34% last year. Battery storage added 50%. Coal production declined substantially. All renewables combined are now 26% of US electricity. And what state is leading the charge?? Texas - a deep Republican state. So much for Trump. He can speak and act against renewables. He can not uninvent solar panels or wind blades. He can not stop the American people`s desire for clean power. lnkd.in/dhPbmkBi
