We are enthusiastically willing to pay TSA workers today, and we will keep trying, but the sticking point is that Republicans want to attach ICE funding to it. We are not in agreement about ICE, but I don’t think workers and travelers should have to wait for an ICE deal.

If every American voter, without a passport, decided to get a passport, as their primary form of ID, it would take 5 years to fill the requests. But Republicans want this to be in effect before the midterms.

Senator, this is wrong. The Medicaid changes from OBBB you’re referencing haven’t even taken effect yet. Boulder City Hospital explained the real reason: “hospitals with low inpatient demand are converting to Rural Emergency Hospital status to eliminate costly 24/7 inpatient staffing while preserving emergency care.” Governor Lombardo signed AB277 creating this designation in Nevada so communities like Boulder City can keep access to critical emergency and outpatient care and stay financially stable. He also secured the state $180M to strengthen our rural healthcare system and expand access to our rural communities. Governor @JoeLombardoNV is focused on solutions, not misleading talking points.
