I, for one, am glad we used today as a get-right day for TJ Friedl and Ke’Bryan Hayes.
I often find myself thinking those two just haven’t been given enough opportunities this year.

Terry Francona on the lineup today: Lowe will be right back in there today. On days where Kebryan plays, we wanted him to play today; McLain… I wish we had 10 today. Benson has such a good history off (the Nationals starter). TJ too. Guys that I think hopefully need a little help, I don’t want to sit them on days like today.

@JizzleLover @yuggs513 Freshman defense is rough a lot of the time, especially off ball, so maybe it can be fixed a bit, as critical as I’ve been he was only a freshman so still a lot of development coming.

@yuggs513 @JizzleLover He’s not efficient from the floor (.78 points per possession from 2), bad assist to turnover at .8, bad defender with extremely low steal rate. I’ll trust Calhoun on this one, I like a lot of the other additions

@JizzleLover I don’t know what qualifies him as the worst player on GT. He was pretty good down the stretch, long, athletic, solid shot, and was a freshman playing in the ACC.

Noelvi Marte, playing center field again tonight, smoked a 406 foot, 107.5 mph double to CF in his first PA. He’s up to .415 with a 1.117 OPS in 59 PAs.
More importantly, only striking out at a 17% rate and walking at a 10% clip. #Reds

He also led the league in Runs Saved last year at +19 Geno was -6
But he had 2 good plays last night, doesn't make him an all-star 3rd basemen

You’d think Geno was -10 outs above average and led the league in errors last year the way some people talk about him playing 3rd base.
He was -3 OAA & only made 16 errors in 152 starts there last year. It’s no Ke’Bryan Hayes obviously, but it’s also not like you’re putting Spencer Steer over there.
He needs to play there more vs RHP. I’m not sure they have an option otherwise. #Reds

NEWS: George Mason transfer Riley Allenspach has committed to Cincinnati, he told @LeagueRDY. The 6-foot-11 forward played one season at George Mason after playing his first two at Samford. He averaged 13.6PPG and 6.1RPG this season.

Cincinnati senior Baba Miller is having himself a stellar senior season and has been a massive part in Cincy's late season surge.
The 6'11 Spanish native is averaging 13.8 PPG, 10.2 RPG, 3.8 APG, 2.1 stocks while shooting 55.3% from the field
Has had draft hype for forever it feels, but this is the season where he's really shown that he can play at the next-level.
Has tremendous tools and athleticism, at his best in transition, has become an elite rebounder and no doubt a very fun defensive prospect.
