Come November 4th, 2020, everyone walks away from their party affiliation becomes an independent and refuses to donate money to any Dem or Rep candidate or organization. It would completely change everything.

@mcuban What’s the first step that even goes into a process like that?

@BethMooreLPM well if you ever get tired of being called terrible names and want a change of pace would love to have you on a new podcast looking at the theology (or lack there of) in current worship songs. We can put Bolshevik Marxist feminist in your bio though if you want :)

@jasminecrowe Did you hear Blitzer say he wouldn’t be surprised if the rest are canceled since the debates didn’t help anyone learn anything?
English

Can we all just agree that was the WORST Presidential debate we’ve ever seen. #Election2020
English

@jasminecrowe I’m seeing this too with a co-op I teach. Families with a handful of kids either have the eldest trying to help teach the younger or the focus on the younger means older must be totally self-sufficient and when they aren’t it just leaves a knowledge gap.

@awilkinson As an operations person, I enjoy thinking about what that means for things like compensation and benefits across borders and of course company culture which will be increasingly intermingled with more geographic cultures. Especially for ones that aren’t giant multinational corps.

@mr_james_c @HarryStebbings Very true, but I’ve started to wonder is that ethos coming more from these founders/companies or from the fanatical users who latch onto a product that matches their opinion on how it should be and take it to the nth degree.
English

@JoshWinkles @HarryStebbings True... Though consider how these relatively mundane things quickly become about sorting into warring tribes - crypto is a classic example of this. We're humans, we can create activism on any subject!

What many forget with brand;
It has to stand for something. It has to polarise. People will be for or against it.
Brands die in middle ground.
2 that exemplify brilliant brands in next gen:
@Conaw @RoamResearch
@domm @fast
Like their position or not, you remember them
English

@mr_james_c @HarryStebbings I wouldn’t look at it as activists choosing a noble cause as much as it is having convictions around how features should be or design (or lack of design). Not giving customers a “choose your own adventure” of “you can do it this way or this way or this way if you like.”
English

@HarryStebbings @Conaw @RoamResearch @domm @fast Sort of. Not all brands have to stand for something. They just need be consistent enough that even those who want to use them understand what they represent.
Imagine if all your friends were activists. It's exhausting!
English

@delk Need me to go ride by it for you? It’s right near my house 🤣
