@Dutch_Agent Don’t they affirm both that Jesus is a prophet and the NT is scripture? Spite and cutting off noses

I see a lot of Mohammedans and whatnot talking about this "mustard seed dilemma" and every single Christian response, regardless of denom, has been 1. Never heard of it but has an immediate response 2. Never heard of it and relentlessly mocks how stupid it is
Fawzy Dawah@fawzydawah

Christianity is FALLING APART because of this (Mustard seed dilemma) Jesus says in Mathew 13:31-32 the smallest of all seeds is the Mustard seed and that’s not scientifically true The smallest seed is orchid seeds, therefore Jesus got it wrong

@cath_menarion Would also add, whether there’s an AI bubble is irrelevant to the coding process changes. After the dot com bubble didn’t kill the idea of websites or e commerce. It just reset expectations

@lukei4655 Tock by tick No matter how far No matter how thick Papa told Mama And Laura told Nick You can move a mountain If you do it brick by brick This was a song in a Lego video game that I don’t remember anything else about, and just popped in my head from your post. My memory is odd

Scott Pilgrim versus The World is a good litmus test for Gen Y versus Millennials. If you were born in the 1980s and were put off by Scott Pilgrim and annoyed by its aesthetic, style, themes, etc then you are probably Gen Y. If you loved it and think Scott Pilgrim spoke to you and that it deserved greater success, then you are likely a Millennial. In this way, Gen Y/Millennial is not a matter of when you were born, but a state of mind. A spiritual division as great as Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Christianity. Did you like Scott Pilgrim versus The World?
Shahanshah of the Internet Age@ChazakielDoremi

Things were already on the decline obviously when it happened but the Scott Pilgrim movie releasing was 9/11 for alt subcultures. Genuinely overnight every alt space was infested in guys with khaki shorts and zelda shirts looking for 'their' Ramona Flowers. It was the death blow.

@TheMiddleborne It’s why we don’t know much about the Celtic tribes’ pagan beliefs or Druidic magic. When Christianity came otoh… Something about worshipping the Word might do that

@theblessedsalt My first thought was IPs locked up beyond the generation that created them dying. There’s a certain truth that Mickey Mouse is part of our cultural heritage, and a certain truth that locking that away is theft. Not saying copyright is wrong, just abused.

“Today, among the goods that are universally intended for everyone, we must also include new forms of property, such as patents, algorithms, digital platforms, technological infrastructure and data.” This may be the first truly fascinating claim for me regarding technology. Pope Leo is all but directly calling for the freeing up of patents that would make life better for the common good, for the widespread availability of the internet (especially where it serves needs like education, work, and commerce), and information. Certainly @elonmusk should latch onto this. He has famously provided Starlink to many underprivileged communities for their own benefit, for which he deserves thanks. What other examples are there of this? Many, I’m sure, but I’d love to hear from readers.
