@July4thPBS Although USA did have a War of 1812, the “1812 Overture” has no connection to USA. It was written in Russia to recognize Russia’s defeat of Napoleon.
@July4thPBS Gloria Gaynor “I Will Survive” Another timely song. Followed by “1812 Overture” with cannons. I’ve been blessed to attend this performance in person in past years.🙏🎉🇺🇸
@July4thPBS Chita Rivera retrospective West Side Story. 65 YEARS, story of immigrants longing for inclusion/acceptance, still so real. My Irish ancestors came 1850’s. Polish came late 1800’s & early 1900’s. None of them were welcomed with open arms. Immigrants built USA🎉🇺🇸
@July4thPBS “Lean on Me” such a great song. Made me cry. USA needs to agree on common values and goals. Together we can do great things. Emily? the the pianist, playing from memory, mind-boggling great. Followed by Andy Grammer🎉🇺🇸
The Supreme Court seems determined to make American the most deadly, the most dangerous and the most inhospitable place on earth.
We’re going to “freedom” ourselves to death.
@CDCDirector today still testing positive 13th day since first symptom. Double boosted. COVID is not over at 5 days. False ad. US GOV spreading COVID.😢
My Tia Irma and Joe garcia were high school sweethearts and leave behind 4 beautiful children, their ages being 23, 19, 15 and the youngest only being 13 years old, no child should have to go through this, my heart breaks for them
ABC News journalist Jonathan Karl tests positive for COVID-19 after shaking hands with President Biden and sitting next to Kim Kardashian at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner
@farnamstreet1@newsmax@RonDeSantisFL This legislation was spitefully and quickly passed. I doubt DeSantis spent much time analyzing financial impact on the citizens of Florida. Florida is just a stepping stone to his presidency.

@J6875M@DeltaNewsHub@Delta Have you ever sneezed in your mask? If you have, you should understand a mask protects those around you from the splatter emitted when you sneeze.
@DeltaNewsHub@Delta What is stopping people from wearing a mask still? That's right, nothing at all. This should have always been a personal choice along with the vaccine. Granted I will still wear a mask as I have a young son. But thats my personal decision not a mandate
Breaking News: The four largest U.S. airlines — United, Delta, Southwest and American — dropped their mask requirements for domestic flights after a judge struck down the federal mandate. nyti.ms/3vvjkKn
@nytimes Vacation travelers protect your young children, travel by car near home. American and Southwest Florida flights already affected by COVID. Let’s see how many more flight cancellations will occur because of this decision to capitulate to Florida politicians and appointees.
@Scacman@united United a business. Businesses have choice to require masks. United should care about health of onboard workers. Customers purchased tickets believing health would be protected on their flight. United needs to provide refunds to customers who are no longer comfortable flying.
@united I'm sorry, but I am a Democrat who actually agrees with this ruling. If you're uncomfortable with not wearing a mask on a plane then wear a mask on a plane. It's your choice.
Masks are no longer required on domestic flights, select international flights (dependent upon the arrival country's requirements) or at U.S. airports. More comfortable keeping yours on? Go right ahead… the choice is yours (you look dino-mite either way)!
