To me, being a conservative in 2026 means… not having the ability to understand that other people are not the same as you. Your inability to grasp anyone else’s perception of the world… which just makes you angry that theirs doesn’t perfectly align with yours. 😤

@KevinCastley "China leads AI development and was first to shoot down a satellite". The US shot down a satellite in 1985 China now has only one place to get oil from they only have 3-4 months worth of oil reserves and since the need oil to fight a war that would be a problem.

We don’t talk enough about just how badly the US would get COOKED if it were foolish enough to start a war with China We often hear in the news American politicians demonizing China and threatening a war over Taiwan— an island they don’t even recognize as a state… But if they were to make good on their threats and appease the reddit libcon-zionist Atlantoids who post B2 dam memes and uphold cartoon dogs on blu*sky— they would get so pulvarized it’s not even funny Let’s look at each traditional dimension of a war with China: air, land, and sea. I won’t get into AI and satellite warfare because that’s beyond obvious in favour of China. China leads AI development and was first to shoot down a satellite But in the air, the US has the most favourable matching. The US has more stealth aircraft and could do some damage. But Chinese air to air missiles are superior these days. Pakistan SMOKED India’s Air Force last year armed with Chinese missiles Once China detects the US it’s ejection time for their pilots They will have a challenge staying out of radar detection even with their stealth In sea it’s not close. US ships are technically better, but China has more ships. But more importantly, China has 200x the shipbuilding capacity of the US So once both navies have sustained a large amount of damage, China can rapidly replenish their numbers The US is down and out once they lose their ships. It will take them decades to rebuild their navy On the ground they will be unable to get very far because China has a larger army equipped with drones and goodies to throw at the US And they can’t paratroop troops from stealth fighters or bombers so they won’t be able to get far inland without getting shot down The only things the US can really do is hit their critical infrastructure and manufacturing. But if they go in that direction, China can do the same to the US with their ICBMs. The US doesn’t have a path to victory They don’t even have a path to victory against Iran. It’s beyond goofy for them to claim they could take China The People’s Liberation Army would COOOK the US 🔥

@TomlinsonCJ @FeelsGuy2003 Vernacular is not the problem. It is the versus populam, communion in the hand, removing of the tabernacle from the altar, removing prayers, allowing lay people to give communion ex.... I am willing to bet you think these are ok

@JrLesage @FeelsGuy2003 Changes were already underway on a local level prior to Vatican II. Versus Populum Mass, Mass in the vernacular had been going on as early as the 1920s in some places.

@FeelsGuy2003 Vatican II barely did anything to the Mass. The changes came years later in 1969.

Vatican II tried to revise & restrict the Latin mass to make it more inclusive and progressive. The 1962 Tridentine Missal was almost completely extinguished in that time— but it survived. Today, hundreds of parishes perform the traditional Tridentine Mass. It’s quite beautiful.

BREAKING 🇻🇦 🇫🇷 Pope Leo XIV has written a letter to the French Bishops to be read at their plenary meeting in Lourdes The letter instructs them to 'generously include' communities attached to the Traditional Latin Mass

Actor Vince Vaughn calls out late-night comedians, says people like Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, and others have all become the “SAME SHOW.” “It stopped being funny, and it started feeling like I was in a f*cking class I didn’t want to take.” THEO VON: “A lot of the late shows have struggled.” VINCE VAUGHN: “Oh, bro.” THEO: “Because… the only person they could make fun of at a certain point was just like white redneck kind of people. And it f*cking tanked [ratings].” VINCE: “I think that the talk shows, to a large part, became really agenda-based.” “They were gonna evangelize people to what they thought… It felt like they had an agenda.” “It stopped being funny, and it started feeling like I was in a f*cking class I didn’t want to take.” “They all became the same show.” “And they all became so about their politics and who’s good and who’s bad.” “Imagine sitting next to someone like that on a f*cking plane. You’d be like, how do I get out of this f*cking seat?” THEO: “I would FART right next to them.” VINCE: “You’d fart your way out of it?” THEO: “Yeah, I would. I would for sure.”

The @SSPXEN have distanced themselves from sedevacantist positions, with the official news outlet publishing a talk against the stance. @FSSPXFR -- “In light of the doctrinal deviations observed since the Second Vatican Council among a large portion of the ecclesiastical hierarchy, certain so-called “sedevacantist” movements — unaffiliated with the FSSPX — recklessly assert that the Church could survive without a pope and that those who hold the highest offices do not truly possess the authority they claim.”

@Emma506131772 @kingkevdeb @MLJHaynes @SSPXEN @FSSPXFR The SSPX has been growing in attendance, conversion, and in vocations St Anthonasias went through a similar situation in his time, he was also excommunicated because the Pope at the time believed a heresy, it wasn't until the next Pope lifted and agreed with him

Since V2 the decline in Catholic conversion and growing numbers of those leaving, the lake of vocation all point to a crisis!

My mother used to say, “Victor Davis Hanson is the court historian of the neoconservatives.” That was, and is, correct. And not a compliment.
M.A. Rothman@MichaelARothman

𝗩𝗗𝗛: 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡. Victor Davis Hanson has spent fifty years studying how wars end. When he says the tide is turning, it's worth listening to why. His argument isn't based on what the Pentagon is saying. It's based on how everyone else is behaving. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀. VDH's rule: Europeans never agree to go anywhere near a conflict unless they think the winning side has already been determined. They didn't help in the early days. Now they're starting to move. That movement is not idealism. It's a calculation. They've looked at the battlefield and decided which way this ends. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼-𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. The Saudis, the Emiratis, the Qataris — these governments have survived for generations by reading the regional climate with precision. When they expel Iranian military attachés, when they intercept Iranian missiles over their own capitals and say nothing about American strikes, when the UAE reaffirms its $1.4 trillion investment commitment to the United States mid-war — they are not making ideological statements. They are placing bets. And they are betting on the United States. 𝗔𝗹 𝗝𝗮𝘇𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗮. This is the one that should stop you cold. Al Jazeera — the Qatari state media network, historically critical of American military action, the network Tucker Carlson and the anti-war right love to cite against Israel — is now calling the U.S. bombing campaign brilliant and effective, and saying it has been underestimated. When the media outlet of a nation that hosts both the largest American air base in the Middle East and a Hamas political office starts praising American military effectiveness, the message is unmistakable: 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘸𝘦'𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘪𝘯. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹. A-10 Warthogs and Apache helicopter gunships are now flying strike missions in Iranian airspace at will. VDH's point: you only deploy those aircraft when there is effectively no air defense left to threaten them. They are slow, low-flying, close-support platforms. Their presence confirms what the Pentagon has been claiming — Iran has no meaningful air defense remaining. Iran's strategy now is rope-a-dope. Run out the clock. Wait for American public opinion to shift. Hope the midterms create political pressure on Trump to stop. It is the only play they have left. VDH's conclusion: if Trump sees it through — and he believes he will — the regime falls. Not in years. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻. 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗼, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝘆. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮.

If the SSPX doesn't get Bishops to maintain orthodoxy in the church who will? We are in a church crisis

The ACA was signed into law 16 years ago today, bringing health care coverage to millions of Americans. But now, 22 million Americans are struggling to afford health insurance because Donald Trump and Senate Republicans refused to extend the ACA tax credits, which could drive families into crippling debt. I won’t stand for these attacks because every American deserves access to high-quality, affordable health care.

@Emma506131772 @kingkevdeb @MLJHaynes @SSPXEN @FSSPXFR If the Pope says all religion are equal, is this true or should we call for a clarification? If you are in a dire situation and where most of the church officials believe in bad things like ecumenism, and the only way to stand against it is to make bishops what do you do?
