Triplets 🐑🐑🐑 This ewe inexplicably aborted last year. We had the dead lamb tested & did blood tests on the ewe but found nothing conclusive. In discussion with our vet, we decided to give her another go rather than send her off as she’s a good strong sheep. She made up for it!

🐮🐑🐐Whoop! A doubly good day. Tb tested the cattle and are all clear which means we can move back to annual testing after being on 6-monthly for several years. Less stress all round. And we scanned the goats and sheep and all but 4 are in lamb. Now to rest my leg! 🐐🐑🐮🙌

So… I might be a bit quiet on here for a while... I’m having a knee replacement op on Saturday so have been super busy trying to get the farm sorted before I’m incapacitated. It’s a strange feeling checking animals knowing I’m not going to see them for weeks. Bit anxious tbh 😬

Iran has just sentenced to death yet another peaceful female political activist (Zahra Tabari, 67). The verdict was handed down by the Revolutionary Court in Rasht, presided by mullah Ahmad Darvish Goftar. The trial lasted just 10 minutes, was conducted via video conference, and Zahra was denied access to a lawyer of her choice. She had previously been detained for her peaceful activities on social media. She has a master’s degree in electrical engineering and is a graduate of Isfahan University of Technology and the University of Borås in Sweden, specialising in Sustainable Energy.
