@_MG_ Great thread had to find out myself if I needed an USB-C cable that had to work with my monitor (Ethernet, 4K video, PD, etc…).

@wolfr_2 I can recommend @kittysplit very hard. Web based, no need for the whole party to to install apps or create accounts. Has all the features I need.

Do you use any apps to split expenses?

@intidc I had the same idea, but is that not something Skyscanner (etc.) already (try) to do? Maybe it should be a biding platform where other companies can bid to do your flight.

What about an app that, for any given Ryan air flight, suggests a better deal with a different operator based on all total costs and hidden fees?

@TimBroddin Benieuwd naar je ervaring met Homey. Hier ook lang geleden weggestapt van HA, het was meer werk dan handig had ik de indruk. Momenteel Apple Home met homebridge om devices HomeKit compatible to maken. Beperkt(er) maar hou wel van die simpliciteit.

@lectrr @fluvius @EnecoBE Wat het voor mij extra pijnlijk maakt: ik gaf mijn panelen 7 dagen te laat aan (volledig mijn eigen fout) waardoor ik (deel van) premie door mijn neus geboord zie. Maar Fluvius die 18 maanden and counting erover doet om mij te verbinden met leverancier is dan geen probleem 🥴

@lectrr @fluvius @EnecoBE Hier al 18 maanden wachtend (aangegeven december 2021). Vorige week nogmaals met fluvius gebeld en toen klacht ingediend maar kreeg zoals verwacht niet meer terug dan “Wij verzekeren u dat we er alles aan doen om dit zo snel mogelijk op te lossen”.

@lectrr @Pieterjanvl @fluvius @EnecoBE In mijn geval (18 maanden wachtende) is er tijdens een migratie naar een nieuw systeem ergens iets misgelopen met mijn account waardoor fluvius mijn gegevens “manueel moet doorsturen” naar mijn leverancier.

@Compi666 Visual Voicemail is wel zeer handig. Wel enkel bij Telenet en Orange (en mogelijks beperkt tot iOS) dacht ik.

Ben ik de enigste die het raar blijft vinden dat als ik naar mijn voicemail luister die altijd start met veel te traag het nummer te zeggen dat gebeld heeft. Dat zie ik op mijn gsm ook hoor. Ik wil vooral eerst het bericht weten. Dat stamt toch echt uit de jaren stilletjes?

@cgrail @cramforce @Sonos As you already have a IKEA component, the IKEA shortcut buttons work great for that for me.

@cramforce @Sonos The Sonos app sucks, but for things like web radio I don’t really have an alternative. For music I directly use the Spotify app. I’m currently thinking to buy some real world buttons which can start things like a web radio station.

I think that @Sonos might objectively be the worst company: their own product went from innovative to slow unusable trash, and meanwhile they sued their main competitor into also sucking. Great work.
