This lady had heard of some weird eating rule called the "Three Bite Rule". Apparently, you're allowed to eat 3 bites of anything indulgent that you want and it should be enough to get rid of the craving. Now, I have no idea who made up this rule. Manholes like this in Midtown can drop 10-20+ feet (sometimes more) straight down into sewer/utility shafts with concrete/metal surfaces below. Even feet-first, the impact often causes catastrophic injuries—shattered pelvis/legs, spinal damage, internal bleeding, or head trauma if she tumbles on the way down. She was rushed to the hospital but didn't survive. Tragic. NYPD is investigating the open cover.

You truly could not invent satire this shameless because even the writers would reject it for being too on the nose.
