I was a retired RT and was arguing against all their covid protocols. Everything they were doing went against healing lungs. It was all designed to kill them while they lay in a hospital bed. They neglected patients. I'd speak up online (because im retired and wasn't in the ICUs to argue face to face) and every one of them would reply "Im glad youre no longer seeing patients". Theyd tell me covid is different so they dont do normal protocol. Sorry, but proper lung function is the same no matter what. If there's fluid in the lungs you dont just let it sit there because its called covid pneumonia. That's not how medicine nor biology works. You dont put people on ventilator when the parameters for assisted breathing haven't been met. They thought if they just put everyone on ventilator and ignored routine care, they wouldn't get covid themselves. That's it. Just ventilate them and dont do 2 hour checks. Don't clear their lungs. Don't encourage coughing. Lay them flat with minimal interation and dont let them move until they die. That's the "covid plan".
