so signal jammer probably shouldnt hide you from scans and from recon ult and make you not appear on thermal and give you a pixelated look (which is annoying if its your teammate btw) and stop you from tripping claymores and make bots less likely to aggro all in one consumable

@JaiceTV Plus the fact that in the kill feed it shows if armor is broken or if you get knocks, it is really easy to pay attention to your teammates pings and kill feed when in a fight so you know when to push or not

Respectfully, I disagree with this. Apex has one of the most comprehensive and user friendly ping systems in any Battle Royale or Multi-Player game - most people just don't know how to use it, or forget it exists.

@Bungie Like I get shotguns and knives being op in games like Destiny in the crucible and CoD where its an arena shooter type, but in an extraction shooter where everyone is playing ratty, it is just an entirely unfair advantage.

@Bungie I dont get how this WSTR shotgun is even fair, someone comes arpund the corner and just two taps you off purple armor and there is no counter to it unless you have a shotgun too

No one is playing this Marathon is trash! Is another comment I got in my stream last night. As a small streamer I really don’t care and I’m just gonna play what I feel like playing. If you go into a stream hating on a game then I don’t want you apart of the audience or community I’m building anyways 😂

@PorkPoncho This definitely was not my experience, every game we had constant consistent fights, no one was hiding and we were killing everyone in the lobby

My Marathon hot take is that I was wrong about Duos and should've never asked for it. Played around 10 rounds and its just people hiding in corners, buildings or skulking around the edge of the map. That hits different in solos because in solos it feels inherent to that experience and plays out like a stealth game. But in duos that doesn't feel right and its not very engaging at least to me anyway, to be honest its mostly boring. Its easy loot though because most of the people in the mode are clearly scared to properly push engagements and would rather hide behind walls and rocks, so play a destroyer and go for maximum aggression to guarantee kills. But yeah @MarathonDevTeam and @Ziegler_Dev I don't think Duos is it. The pacing of PvP feels really off as a duo and overall I don't think it will benefit the game in general. Solos and Trios feels like a good set. Happy to be proven wrong in the long term though. I'm fully ready to be crucified int he comments though by people who don't like the idea of making friends in the game.

Marathon is in a death spiral. Week to week, peak players are dropped by over 10k players, and when numbers are this low, they cannot afford to bleed any more players. Add to that where Paul Tassi said that most of the Marathon players are on PC, these numbers are apocalyptic for a game that cost over $200 million to produce and develop... It means that these steam numbers are the main story... not some hidden console numbers. Aside from game sales, the revenue stream relies on microtransactions within the game's shop. MTX with only 50k peak players is not enough for a game of this scale and budget. These declining numbers lead to the "social proof" effect, which makes whales hesitant when it comes to their purchases. Bungie needs a miracle, some patch that fixes all of the glaring issues... but let's face it... People are just not interested in hardcore extraction shooters, while getting a visual migraine from the effects and colors.

All of solos in marathon is waiting in a corner invis all game until someone pops by and you insta kill that person. Remove assassin from solos 🙏
