@nateliason Curious about your experience with Whoop -- I'm currently debating between getting it vs just an apple watch

hey @cursor_ai for multiagents I would love to be able to edit the "master prompt" and then restart the agent flow for all agents rather than click on each one and revise -> regenerate

A hill I will die on: Buying groceries is almost always not a great financial investment. yes, even taking into account leverage. looking at averages, investing in SP500 is more profitable (on average). and also, that's ok! buy because its a great emotional ivnestment.

@RyanCarniato Maybe is something the docs could do better. Curious about the support of solidstart with tanstack start also in the picture with first class solid support. Will it still be pushed forward?

Architectually pretty much the same. Most things are run on both sides at a certain point unless they marked as server only. It's possible the middleware difference might shape perception. Maybe people weren't used to it at the time. Maybe Tanstack has better affordances, but no substantial difference.

Since people seem to interested in alternative Server Component architectures, might as well publish the source. These documents are rough, basically brain dumps. But I think thanks to Tanstack there is interest. "Isomorphic First Framework" @0u1u3zEAQAO0iYWVAStEvw/SkM6lc_Cge" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">hackmd.io/@0u1u3zEAQAO0i

I remember my main pain point when we did a SolidStart app was that it wasn't clear what was running in the server and client, it took us a while to figure out that code could be running in either depending on the context, and by the time we realized we were too deep into treating everything as client side code.

@RyanCarniato Interesting that you consider Tanstack Start an Isomorphic First Framework, they seem to put a great effort into making explicit what code runs in the server, with the rest running mostly on the client (I guess they do have SSR)

Today's experiment: I'm adding "skills" to Sentry's MCP. This is a larger fix for what I had already been changing around our permissions. You will have to opt-in to these skills, which will enable a set of tools. Helps us control workflows still, but minimizes context use.

@Dimillian They are pretty generous with the included usage. E.g getting around 40$ for the 20$ plan

Can someone explain to me what is the difference between a $200 Cursor plan and just using the on demand billing?

@swyx but why does the right have to be slow! i run the same task with different models all the time since i'm in the business of trying a lot of models it's very rare that the slow "smart" models actually get things right that a faster model couldn't

both cursor and windsurf released models today heavily optimized for speed this is very different than the direction people have been pushing where they kick stuff off to codex for 45min but it's fast feedback loops are always what end up mattering

so excited to share Composer with the world! Composer is Cursor's own agentic coding model. it plans, edits, and builds software alongside you with precision, keeping you in flow with incredible speed. i started this project on the side while working on a bug-finder prototype that eventually became Bugbot. before long, Composer took on a life of its own, and i soon shifted my focus completely. since then, both the project and our team have grown into something far beyond what i imagined possible. building Composer together has been the most rewarding experience of my (very short) career. can't wait to see what you all build with it!
