Senator @SenRobinhood spotlighted a defining narrative among Duterte supporters, describing the former administration as a period when Filipinos felt a rare sense of respect from other countries and a stronger pride in their identity. He linked that experience directly to former President @RRD_Davao’s leadership, emphasizing that such recognition was not commonly felt before. Padilla framed this as more than reflection, pointing to a time that shaped how Filipinos saw themselves on the global stage and how they carried that identity beyond the country.
Padilla also addressed criticism directed at Duterte supporters, rejecting claims that their backing is driven by money or political incentives. He described it instead as grounded in utang na loob, or a sense of gratitude toward a leader they believe acted for the Filipino people. As debates around Duterte’s legacy and ongoing legal challenges continue to draw attention, his remarks underscore how past perceptions of national standing are now feeding into present-day sentiment, influencing how supporters respond, organize, and position themselves on an issue that remains under national and international scrutiny.

Such a simple task but most Filipinos can’t seem to stick to it.
This is exactly the kind of discipline that’s only truly cultivated in Davao City.
Just as every proud Davaoeño says ~ “Proudly raised by a Duterte”
Duterte = discipline.👊

“I wonder what Iranian Richard Heydarian is feeling while his motherland is being b0mbed by the people he works for…”

When you want to be “famous” through bashing and discrediting people who really work hard to make life easier for the Filipino people, like Mader Perci @RepPerci , while fully supporting politicians whose only aim in life is to take advantage of gullible, miseducated (or not educated at all) people like you, what does that make of you? Do you think mapapahiya si Mader? Ikaw ang kahiya-hiya!

WATCH: Sharing this coverage of the gathering of Solid Duterte supporters in Hong Kong yesterday, March 29, 2026, Sunday, as they came together to mark the 81st Birthday of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, who remains under detention at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
What unfolded was not only a celebration but a quiet yet powerful expression of loyalty, remembrance, and conviction. Amid the festive atmosphere, one could clearly sense the unwavering resolve of his supporters, standing firm in their gratitude for his leadership, and united in their hope for his eventual release and the dismissal of the charges against him.
Beyond politics, this gathering reflects something deeper: a continuing bond between a leader and those whose lives were touched by his governance. It is a reminder that public service, in its most enduring form, is measured not only by institutions and narratives, but by the memory and sentiment of the people.
As he marks another year, many continue to pray for his health, strength, and peace of mind. And above all, they hold on to the hope that he may soon return to his beloved country, which he served.
Again, Belated Happy birthday, Mr. President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Your place in the hearts of many Filipinos remains steadfast.
Mabuhay po kayo, sir.
