"Call of Duty is now getting BURIED by all of these other games, not just a direct competitor.... CoD actually needs to do something optically to make people pay attention to it again" Jev predicts Call of Duty will go back to "ultra realism" titles to get players back

Penny and Dr. Ed Scott jointly addressed the PJ Haggerty situation from last year: "We were prepared to make PJ a very lucrative offer." Penny on why he waited so long: "I knew if he stayed, we wouldn't be in a situation like we would be in right now...that's on me."

Some quotes about PJ Haggerty and last offseason: Penny Hardaway: "That's a walking bucket. That's 20-plus points a game, that's what the city loved, that's what we deserve." Ed Scott: "PJ won more games at Memphis than he's won anywhere else combined, if I'm not mistaken."

Mfs got so much energy for Penny Hardaway. We have a NBA franchise that don’t know how to build a championship team. The owner cheap, the GM rather draft than sign or trade for good players and don’t get me started on this coach.

Lol yall dont wanna win fr if you think drafting Acuff n tradibg Ja, will bring a championship to memphis. Nigga we NEED A PF. We got one of the best pure PGs in the league in Ja Morant. #Grindcity
SleeperGrizzlies@SleeperMemphis

Darius Acuff Jr. has consistently been considered a target by Memphis in mock drafts If Ja Morant is traded this offseason, do you think the Grizzlies should take Acuff as their next franchise point guard? #GrindCity

A Weed & Wagyu Story: LLJC 🥩🕊️ 🏚️ jesse johnson iv (@jessethechef) came up in memphis kitchens where feeding friends was the 1st flex. he later attended tennessee state university studying mass communications, but college didn’t stick, cooking did. jan 17, 2019 was his last check from target & he never looked back. after that he hustled stuffed lobster plates in nashville, posting them online until the internet wanted more. 👨🏾‍🍳 those viral plates flipped into a real business. by mid 2019 @jessethechef sold out weekly, building a style rooted in butter, heat & personality. when the ceilings got low, he moved to LA in july 2019, starting from scratch w/ little more than ambition. 🍽️ LAsharpened the brand of JesseTheChef. he built a reputation as a private chef specializing in seafood & wagyu, eventually cooking for chief keef, @lildurk, @KeyGLOCK, dolph & more while operating as a japanese wagyu trapper shipping A5 beef across 48 states. 🔥 somewhere between a dab hit & a sear, the idea formed: pair high-grade wagyu w/ exotic cannabis. not infused, paired. by 2020–2021, weed & wagyu emerged as a private tasting concept matching steak & strain in flavor, fat & experience. 🌿 @jessethechef spoke about bringing a black, trap-influenced presence into cannabis. his goal was visibility, showing young black chefs, smokers & entrepreneurs there was space for them where luxury food, terps & culture meet. 🍌🏪 banana pudding became a @jessethechef signature, & archie’s became the hub where people pulled up for it, the drops & the community. 🥩 weed & wagyu grew beyond dinners into a brand, pop-ups, dab rigs, youtube, merch & collabs. the project fused internet humor, wagyu luxury & cannabis culture into a lane uniquely his. 🕯️ on nov 15, 2022, @jessethechef passed away at age 29. tributes quickly spread across social media & cannabis forums from friends, chefs & fans who had followed his rise. 🥩 weed & wagyu continues under “long live jessethechef.” strains he curated, like not another lemon cherry gelato w/ la fav farms & meatwad w/ jellywizard, still move through the team. his story remains a blueprint: a memphis cook who turned, weed & wagyu culture into a lasting identity. - @nuggnotes🪴

Welcome to the Slurper Era: a JP Toro story 🔥 🧪 2017, quartz was already king: banger culture ruled the dab world thanks to innovators like Quave Glass and Pukinbeagle, but Toro Glass founder JP Toro was chasing something else entirely: terpenes. even after Toro’s grail banger dropped in 2014 with a flat beveled top and solid quartz bottom, JP wanted more than heat retention. he wanted movement. the answer was the terp slurper, a quartz nail that did not just hold heat, it redirected it. 💨 airflow as flavor tech: instead of a bucket, JP designed a bottom dish with angled intake slits that pulled vapor upward through a narrow column. inspired by how sommeliers aerate wine to unlock flavor, the “slurping” effect kept oil in motion, vaporizing evenly at lower temperatures. flavor intensified, highs climbed, and the bar jumped overnight. thermodynamics became performance art. 🔬 2017–2018, quiet rollout: early prototypes circulated through private drops, leaked photos, and forum whispers among glass collectors. people called it “the nail that hits back.” by 2018, terp slurpers appeared in Toro Glass limited releases, each stamped Toro and priced like functional jewelry. 💎 2019, industry takeover: within a year, every serious quartz maker had a variation. blenders, towers, elevators, charmers all traced their lineage to Toro’s original airflow design. the “slurper set” became ritual: bottom dish, valve marble, spinner pearl, and cap. dab accessories were no longer optional, they were part of the system. 🏗️ precision arms race: the slurper sparked a new standard in quartz craftsmanship. full weld joints, beveled lips, flame polished interiors. Toro Glass pushed its own lineup, mini, XL, XXL, vortex, slide, pushing geometry as hard as material quality and redefining what USA quartz meant. 💫 status & collaboration: owning a Toro slurper became a flex. major collaborations with Mothership, Darby, MoodMats, The Dab Rite, and elite glass and hash makers helped cement the terp slurper as the new industry benchmark. 🌎 legacy: copycats flooded the market, but the blueprint was already set. low temperature dabbing, higher flavor expression, airflow as engineering. Toro Glass changed how concentrates were consumed. 🔔 nearly a decade later: “slurper” is no longer just a product, it is a language of innovation. Toro’s flame fused art, physics, and flavor into a tool that permanently reshaped dabbing culture. — @nuggnotes 🪴

How I see the Brandon Aiyuk saga. >The 49ers reluctantly gave Aiyuk a fat contract because Kyle Shanahan told them to. >Aiyuk got injured. >Aiyuk rehabbed away from the team. >The 49ers found a loophole in the contract that allowed them to get out of it if he rehabbed away from the team. >The 49ers voided his guarantees. >Aiyuk rejoined the team and spent training camp, preseason and the first few weeks showing everyone that he's ready and willing to play. >The 49ers didn't play him because they wanted to get out of the contract. >Realizing he had played his final game with the 49ers, Aiyuk left the team. >The 49ers currently are holding him hostage because they're afraid he will play well for the Commanders.
