@jebsmith764 212-21 in the electoral vote and an over 10 point victory in the popular vote isn’t suggested of anyone almost losing an election. Their aggressiveness gutted the Confederacy. Grant didn’t withdraw and regroup when he lost an engagement. I don’t think they were “over aggressive”.
