I think one gripe I have with FF8 is with the Laguna dreams (?) and how the characters react to it. After they wake up from the dream, you would expect them to talk about it and see that it’s not a coincidence, right? But no, they wake up and go: “Woah! Anyways!” LIKE CMON MAN 😭

I am happy to announce I think my wife and I found a name we can both live with. She was determined to find me a new social name that worked for both systems since she got me the ps5 pro. The last name idea Jimplaysdualmode I just did not feel it. was terrible. But I think I have one that I can live with and she will be happy so everyone wins. Happy Wife Happy Life is true. @jimjustgames I got RE and RE2 pretty quickly. It was wild to play the PS1 version of Resident Evil and find there was an auto aim function after only playing that on the Saturn where you had to just aim and hope for the best

@JustNukeGaming You had a plan and it worked lol. I remember I went to stay with my mother long for a while (Divorced Parents) and I had nothing to do and I talked her into taking me to get a ps1 and resident evil.

From the PS2 archives…Resident Evil 4! Did you play it?

People really need to start working on their reading comprehension skills, especially if your career is in writing. Sony never said only the Essential tier was getting increased. They said PS Plus is going up "starting at" and showed the new minimum prices for the program, meaning the prices above where going up as well. Everyone has a right to be mad at Sony for raising prices, it sucks, but don't be mad when Sony "suggested" nothing and you just failed to use critical thinking for yourself.

@kanon06 While I thought the combat could use a little more work, everything else about the game was just so well done. They knew what they wanted to aim for and you can tell they put a lot of research, time and care into making sure they hit it just right. I highly recommend this one out

Huggin Molly. I actually loved this section of the game so much. The story around her, the music and the level you travel through. 10/10 South of Midnight Photography

Val Kilmer was just awesome in this role. It is such a shame that this movie just sat there for so long unused by both Lucas and then Disney that Val could no longer do anything with this role due to health issues. His presence could have elevated that series.

Finished the finale of The Boys and despite my worries about them being able to close it out in a satisfying way, they managed to do a good job with it. Characters stayed true to who they were in the end with some gruesome deaths that you would expect from the series. I do feel like they should have done something different with Soldier Boy beyond just leaving him sitting in the fridge from last episode, Jensen Ackles is too good for that kind of anti climatic closure.

Remember when Barnes & Noble nearly tanked? The power is in the buyer's hands. If you don't want AI-written books, you don't have to buy them and you don't have to go to @bnbooks. Many local used bookstores are small businesses and you should support those.

I feel like we will probably get the remake soon to try and time in with the movie or a bit before to build hype for it. A new one I think a bit longer out though. I don't quite see them going back to this same map again after 2 games in it. They already stretched it out with the sky and underground, really not much the can explore new. Time to make a new big open world for people to explore and that takes time

@TheDazeel Should have been warching real kids movies like the Secret of NIMH or Commando. But honestly, I think the Secret of NIMH might have done more damage to me as a child than all my fathers action movies we would sneak watching 😱

Gobliins 2: The Buffoon Prince. It was my first point and click adventure game and neither my brother or myself could ever beat it because the solutions to some of the puzzles made so little logical sense that it was more luck to solve it than anything else. In all my years I have never heard or seen any mention of this game, making me wonder sometimes that I had imagined it.

Some games never became mainstream, but anyone who played them never forgot them. What's a niche retro game you still think about years later?
