@PowerGotNow As a 1s & 2s player, this argument is terrible. You’re rewarded for playing bad perimeter defense & penalized often times for playing good interior defense. Anyone can drop step someone out of the way in the paint regardless of whether they have high post control. RNG is at a max

Here's why I support lower 3-point percentages in 2K, and it's less about realism and more about gameplay balance. The game is more fun when there's versatility - where an inside center can be just as effective as a stretch, and a slasher can thrive alongside a 3-point guard. This mirrors real life, Curry is great from deep, but Giannis dominates around the rim. Now, when players can hit 60-70% from 3 like has been common in recent 2Ks, it breaks the game. Builds that can't shoot at that level become nearly useless. Let's break it down with math & true shooting percentage: - 33% from 3 = 50% from 2 (in true shooting percentage terms) - If a player shoots above 67% from 3, even shooting 100% from 2 won't be as efficient as the 3 shooter. I've added a graph to make it easier to get but: In simple terms, you could make every shot from 2, and someone hitting threes would still outperform you if they can hit it at 67% or higher. That imbalance destroys build diversity and ruins the game experience. Lowering these 3-point percentages isn't just about realism - it's about making the gameplay more balanced and enjoyable. That is better for everyone and the game

@PowerGotNow While I get the concept this isn’t necessarily true. Last year I would hit pretty much anything that was wide open with a 90 middy and an 82 3 ball. 24 IMO rewarded players for taking good open shots and knowing their timing. These random window movements are NOT skill gap.
