My heart dropped
If she ends up in an American hospital we are financially ruined
I went on the Lufthansa app to book a flight back to Frankfurt, but unfortunately pilots are on strike today
“Please I’m begging you” she was lying on the floor
I sighed and called 911
She is now in surgery as apparently her appendix “almost burst”
I am extremely scared
This is going to cost us at least $100,000
She could have received much better care, for free, in Germany

A Morrisons store manager says his life has been completely 'devastated' after he was sacked for confronting a repeated shoplifter.
Sean Egan - who had worked in the Aldridge Morrisons in the West Midlands for 29 years - was escorting the shoplifter out of the store when the thief turned aggressive.

I asked @ZackPolanski yesterday what is the Green Party's response to the recent wave of attacks against Jewish sites in the UK. His response: “I'm concerned about rising antisemitic attacks. We saw arson attacks on ambulances for instance and we know that increasingly jewish communities are feeling unsafe. There’s a conversation to be had about whether it’s a perception of unsafety or whether it’s actual unsafety, but neither are acceptable”.

BREAKING: An east London mosque, the Darul Arqam Mosque & Muslim Community Centre, has released footage of the damage to their property following a vandalism incident in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Paint was thrown across the exterior walls, doors, and windows of the mosque. The masjid is now working with police to find the vandals and establish the motive behind the attack. Mosques all across the UK are increasingly being targeted by similar acts of vandalism amid rising Islamophobia. In a statement, Darul Arqam Mosque said: “This is a deeply concerning incident, particularly as it involves a place of worship that serves the whole community. "We remain committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and peaceful environment for everyone.
