The 3.4.0 update that rolled this weekend seems to have squashed almost all of the Gravity software bugs! More importantly, this is an open and candid conversation with Emad to discuss @LucidMotors' approach to software development now that he has taken over this responsibility.

Congrats to the @LucidMotors team @ntwork Been driving on Software Update 3.4.0 & super stoked. No glitches, system is much smoother & impressive. Way it should be! Car driving wise was amazing from day one. Now my little annoyances with the software are gone.

"One thing is crystal clear about the Lucid Gravity: Its all-electric propulsion system is a game changer." The @LucidMotors powertrain engineering team has done it again, scoring a second Wards 10 Best Engines and Propulsion Systems award! wardsauto.com/news/lucid-gra…

@AfonsoEV_ If you dislike the Simpsons 'maestro' joke, I'm sorry. But there's no need for ad hominem attacks. My only intent was to provide some missing context for people seeing an unverified, single-source report that the subject didn't get a chance to comment on before publication.

@JustinBerkowitz I’ve been in the PR side before. You should not approach bloggers and/or media like you speak to a friend. It’s part of the job as you are representing a company. I’m no one to give advice but that’s a suggestion.

@AfonsoEV_ Apologies if I've offended, Afonso, not at all my intention! There's so much misinfo out there, so please know that you are always welcome to reach out prior to publishing to check on things like this. I believe you have my email and phone number.

@hsym786 I wonder what kinda news Lucid will pair the post-split price movement with. Gravity production or order book update, updated long term production forecast/guidance towards profitability, another partnership, teasing midsize...

@LucidMotors I love you but please listen to a few points. -You want to sell more cars, first make the buying experience more engaging. Use technology. You need to showcase your product better. Small teams make this happen and honestly a small group could make this website special. Currently it’s a F+ and for a company burning this much cash, it’s a shame. Put that money towards the website and SEO. You need someone that knows how to navigate and sell to Americans. You need serious tech support. -Carvana has a better buying experience. Step it up! -Let customers interact with the vehicle digitally. Let them feel and know they are getting a better vehicle and that the website is important to you as the first point of contact. Offer test drives through the website but especially the App. You should have a shop on the app and you can select the trim and edit the 3D rendered vehicles in real time. Customize and order. Then that car populates into the owner portion of the App and gives a preparing delivery update. -You don’t have studios everywhere. Let people look at every inch of the car on your website/app. Allow customers to open the trunk, open the frunk, doors, glovebox etc. test the ui and see that in realtime. Don’t hide anything. Makes no sense. Everyone who is interested in an EV and specifically Lucid, it’s more than likely their first EV. They need to be thoroughly educated on your product. -Get creative with comparing other vehicles. Explain why you would pick Lucid. MAC/PC type of marketing. -Promote daily on this platform. Make it less exclusive feeling. Go live! Just get in the car and drive. Go adventuring and share that. Don’t be corny. Owners club is cool but it feels like a high end country club and I need to be a grandpa to get in. You want to connect, get more realistic. Modern luxury is all about comfort and convenience. - sleek is better than mid century tech cohesion with hard to read fonts. It may seem artsy and cool. It’s not. Update the font to. -The “design your” is broken. It crashes every time I go to make an order for a Gravity. Not a good look. This needs to be fixed today. Fix these things first and then start marketing. -Right now if you are paying advertisers to send people to that poorly designed website, you are wasting money and they are going to walk away. -Sales is all about that first impression. Do I get the, we have better tech than Tesla vibe? No. You don’t need to be Tesla but at least give the notion that you are both the future. One feels like rich boomer and the other tech nerd. Find the middle and you sales will increase. -You can do this!! Brighten it up. You don’t walk into a dark store with dark walls. People go to the light. Make it bright and airy. Dark environments are for sleeping and meditating. People aren’t excited to spend $70k+ on a car unless it’s a special experience. Make it special. Give it that human touch. -You paying advisors to sit around? Get them on social media platforms. @ntwork can’t do it all. Half of your employees are already addicted to scrolling. Put them all to work. Make a post a day at the minimum. Exciting journey ahead.

Is this a new dashboard animation for the Lucid Air from v2.6.0? Or has this brake light and turn signal animation in there all along? #NotVeryObservant 😳 #LucidOwnersClub.

@JoshWest247 Not sure it'd fit with our whole mission for higher-volume, lower-price EVs, but looks cool! 😉

@davidharsanyi Just on the Lucid Motors example you're using here - I'm afraid that's a somewhat-common misconception, originally spread by some folks who don't know how to read a balance sheet. Can't divide the cost of long-term capital investments by units sold in year one or two.

Lucid Motors, owned by the Saudi "sovereign wealth fund," loses $227,000 for every car it makes. Sovereign wealth funds are a terrible idea.
