One sign of why #geriatrics has a recruiting problem. This is an elementary school presentation kit by orthopedic surgery. Literally bone trophies to show and tell. I’d present a©️cognitive test, use an armchair, tape, timer. Compression stockings. Polypharmacy colouring sheet.

@MacGeriUpdate Clarifying that benefit of med review/deprescribing FRIDS is unclear right now as an isolated intervention for falls with current evidence. So optimize meds, but don’t stop there. Think about exercise interventions and other factors that may apply to your falling patient.
