@usa_retro I tried to get pre approved in 2009 or 2010 and was denied due to lack of credit history. I paid my way through technical college. Meanwhile I had friends who were in or dropped out of college but had “credit history” on student loans they hadn’t even started paying.

@washghost1 I don’t know about Samsung but for LG never use the Normal cycle. Use Delicate, Stain Care, or Bedding. Those seem to use a proper amount of water and clean better.

@chrisalbon I know no one cares but- if you were reading that 5tb file off of an ssd it will take you 8 hours, and if you had a PCIe 5.0 nvme drive it’ll take you 5-10 mins.

For the machine, we went with the Breville Bambino and IMHO, it's the perfect starter espresso machine for tight spaces. It's mildly noisy, but the noise is short lived and it's not much louder than grinding the dang beans haha. amzn.to/4shMVCS

@duskofoed @kentcdodds The Liquid Glass makes things very wonky and see through. Much harder to use and distracting. The worst is the text input now floating / overlapping content and being very difficult to find. It also results in apps (even iMessage) to mess up the displayed content.

Finally decided to update iOS and I hate it. My next phone will be an android

@jimoxe @wbuppert @CARandDRIVER Most cars let you turn it off at least for the current started session. And sport modes usually turn it off. But this method here is to wire in a bypass / hack so a dealership would never suggest it and could complain that it voids some kind of warranty (though it shouldn’t)

@VicVijayakumar I live in the Midwest and have usually been online before my east coast workers. Those guys sleep until 9-10 am Eastern. Maybe due to working with west coasters. Funny enough in one of my Microsoft Teams the earliest worker was West Coast in Seattle but he was also the latest.
