@LangmanVince what a chase this was. A lot of brave documentation from chasers today. I keep getting drawn towards the top of the tornado. Not because of the horizontal vortices, which were sick AF, but the general violence of the whole thing. Well done sir

Always an interesting feeling when you feel like you did everything right during a chase and a few bad strokes of luck at the wrong times screw you. Conga line plus very strong wet RFD kept me stuck on the SW side of the tornado today. Was within a half mile it at all times and briefly saw it twice. All of my best tornado footage has come from the west side of tornadoes, but some days that strategy costs me. Seen some others frustrated with the same unluckiness today, keep your heads up it happens even when you do everything right. Lots of luck involved with this passion. Congrats to everyone who got insane footage!
