@dubswill @zagnut @wesleybryangolf @RickShielsPGA I think the Takomos are also great and have several friends that have played them for 2+ years with no issues. I tell all my buddies that are getting into golf to go with them. Can’t really beat them for the price.

@dubswill @zagnut @wesleybryangolf @RickShielsPGA It’s because mizuno doesn’t sponsor many players and the other companies have huge stables of pros. Also Mizuno drivers and woods aren’t as good as the other big 3 companies. They say the new ones are but they always say that. lol

@zagnut @wesleybryangolf @RickShielsPGA They’re phenomenal irons, don’t get me wrong. But since Brooks joined up with Srixon, I can’t think of anyone who won a major with Mizuno irons. The best guys are with Callaway and Taylormade. A handful are with Srixon and Titleist.

@thwacknicklaus I don’t think most people care about that. The tour needs personality. It’s boring to watch. I’d much rather watch the pros on their YouTube channels.

I don’t blame pros for using the most forgiving equipment imaginable — they’re playing for millions. Of course you take every advantage. But if tours actually rolled the gear back, even slightly, you’d get a better product: more shotmaking, and the best ball strikers instead of the launch monitor optimizers. Just sayin.

@RETR074 @LouStagner That’s wild. I have 100-105 swing speed and carry 240-250. There has to be other factors. Temp, wind, spin, and so on. What’s smash factor on the Trackman?

@K00paking3 @LouStagner It goes 280+ on the Trackman but nowhere near that on the course. I just checked via Google Earth for my round yesterday and drives were about 200 carry with zero roll as they plugged immediately

@RETR074 @LouStagner You must hit it as far from the center as possible if you can only get 220-240 with 110mph swing speed. You’re only a few mph below tour average. Something is not adding up.

I have enough mobility, plenty of strength and power to swing a golf club and have been training consistently since i was in high school. Yet i still early extend Why? Because it is a swing issue not a physical issue and therefore no exercise will fix it.
