@bowtiedstocks The bigger it gets the more embedded into the economy it becomes. The NDIS adjacent businesses like trades, health services become increasingly dependent and more susceptible to government overreach and control.
English

I just can’t get my head around why NDIS fraud goes largely unpunished and undetected ‘because it would be too big to reel in’
Crazy crazy stuff
It’s almost like this is the outcome they are wanting…
Michael Frazis@michaelfrazis
lol why even bother #NDIS

@bowtiedstocks people only ever discuss nominal increases and very rarely inflation adjust in addition to cost of carry.

Where does the ‘propadee doubles every 7 years’ fallacy come from ?
It makes little sense when put under the slightest bit of scrutiny
Propadee can never fully decouple ftom people’s incomes, as if this occurs you don’t have any new entrants to the market
New entrants to the market are needed to keep it functioning
Also, prices didn’t grow at all from 1890-1960
In that case, they didn’t double over 70 years let alone 7

U.S. President Donald J. Trump has made his second post of the day on the Strait of Hormuz, with him stating, “The United States of America has beaten and completely decimated Iran, both Militarily, Economically, and in every other way, but the Countries of the World that receive Oil through the Hormuz Strait must take care of that passage, and we will help — A LOT!” Trump goes on to say that restoring shipping to the strait “should have always been a team effort,” which he states will be coordinated by the United States.

Major escalation in Iran tonight
US calling Iran's bluff on the Strait of Hormuz by destroying all military assets on Kharg Island & threatening to return to destroy the oil distribution infrastructure there (essential to Iraq's economy) unless Iran ceases attacking ships in the Strait
Now the big question: Will Iran back down? Or does this ratchet the conflict into higher gear?
Mark Dubowitz@mdubowitz
President Trump’s strike on Kharg crossed a major threshold: putting Iran’s economic jugular at risk. The U.S. shattered military defenses, radar, and IRGC protection around Tehran’s most critical export hub while deliberately sparing the oil terminal. Iran’s main financial lifeline is now exposed—and Washington has made clear it can sever it if the regime escalates.

@bowtiedstocks The karenification of the institutions will be written about most unfavorably in the future
English

@bowtiedstocks It starts with the education system then permeates through society leading to mediocrity and decay as we are no longer merit based.

I have a theory and I’d like to hear other people’s views:
Australia is starting to suffer the consequences of disastrous DEI / ESG / quota policies that first became a thing around a decade ago
Where merit and economic reality no longer rules
Every action has a consequence, we can’t expect that this was going to be without consequence can we ?

Dismantling air defence systems to be shipped to the gulf is not something you'd do if you were winning.

South Korea's President is trying to calm down the population about the removal of US defense assets but said openly he opposed the move The message is getting pickup all over the Asia Pacific

Petrol prices are through the roof and our Federal Government has failed the Australian people.
The Labor Federal Government would have you believe that the only reason petrol prices are so high is due to the war with Iran.
The realities are under the International Energy Agreement each country needs to have three months of oil reserves in their stock piles.
Australia barely has 32 days worth of oil reserves.
The Albanese Labor Government have once again failed the Australian people now we are all paying a huge price.
