@venom1s Not only unemployed men. Few persons are not ready to marry a boy from an agricultural family. Recently one girl rejected me because my family is doing farming.

@plot_twistttt Dear Parents, Stop looking for a guy’s salary and how well he is settled before marrying your daughter to him, Marriage should only see love and care, not money or financial background.

Dear Parents, Teach your sons to cook, clean, do laundry, respect, and share responsibilities. If you think wives exist only for household work, you don’t need marriage - you need a maid.

They say why do girls fear marriage so much? A stranger replaces your father, mother & siblings. He'll be responsible for your mental, physical, and emotional health. You change your name, your city, your life choices, your freedom even your family for someone you barely know.

Separating a son from his parents = cruelty. Separating a daughter = tradition. Patriarchy really said “same pain, different PR.” We’ve romanticized her loss for too long.

Teach your sons how to manage the kitchen and home. Marrying them off is not about getting a full-time assistant for them, almost like passing on the mantle of shouldering the responsibility of your son to another's daughter. Let them learn to live independently first before discussing marriage.

@divyaporwal_ Stay with your parents, take care of family expenses, and your parents' patriarchy will automatically be gone.

Do you know why society has been conditioned to prefer a boy child. Because after marriage, a daughter is no longer seen as “herself” by her own family, it’s like her family changed, and suddenly groom family think they have more rights over her life. That’s patriarchy. The day we stop treating daughters like someone to be “given away”, and start respecting their individuality even after marriage, that’s day, we will remove patriarchy.
