This week, together with my team, we visited the Republic of Moldova 🇲🇩, a valued #NATO partner for over 30 years. In a series of high-level engagements, I met with: 🔹 President @sandumaiamd 🔹 PM @AlexMunteanuMD 🔹 Defence Minister Anatolie Nosatii 🔹 CHOD Brig. Gen. Vitalie Micov Our discussions focused on strengthening #NATO–#Moldova cooperation, from practical support and defence reform to deepening military-to-military ties. In #Chisinau, I also had the privilege to engage with future military leaders on education and training, and to meet the #NATO Liaison Office, instrumental to advancing dialogue and cooperation. Good discussion with @SecGenNATO Mark Rutte in Brussels. We addressed regional security developments, Moldova–NATO cooperation, and the Alliance’s support to strengthen our security and defence capacities. Moldova values NATO expertise in building resilient institutions.
