Karnataka State Haj Committee

Various concerns and comments have been observed in several media platforms regarding the increase of Rs 10,000 on Haj airfare. We share the concerns for every pilgrim who saves for years to perform Haj. That is precisely why the Haj Committee negotiated hard on their behalf. The facts: Airlines demanded USD $300–$400 per pilgrim due to the sharp rise in Aviation Turbine Fuel prices caused by the ongoing Middle East crisis — a global emergency beyond any government’s control. After extensive negotiation and due consultation with stakeholders, the Ministry of Minority Affairs approved a one-time revision of only USD $100 per pilgrim, irrespective of embarkation point — a saving of USD $200–$300 per pilgrim compared to what airlines originally sought. This is not exploitation. This is the government absorbing pressure and protecting pilgrims from a far larger burden. The circular is transparent, the process was lawful, and the decision was made in good faith to ensure Haj 2026 operations are not disrupted for over a lakh pilgrims already registered. Notably, private tour operators had already revised fares sharply and subsequently imposed a further increase of around USD 150. ಹಜ್ ವಿಮಾನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ದರದಲ್ಲಿ 10,000 ರೂ. ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವಾಗಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ವೇದಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಳವಳಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿವೆ. ವರ್ಷಗಟ್ಟಲೆ ಹಣ ಉಳಿಸಿ ಹಜ್ ಯಾತ್ರೆಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಯಾತ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಯ ಕಾಳಜಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೂ ಭಾಗಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಇದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಜ್ ಸಮಿತಿಯು ಯಾತ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಕಠಿಣ ಸಂಧಾನ ನಡೆಸಿದೆ. ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರಾಚ್ಯ ಬಿಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದಾಗಿ ವಿಮಾನ ಇಂಧನ ಬೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೀವ್ರ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಯಾವುದೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣಕ್ಕೂ ಮೀರಿದ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಪ್ರತಿ ಯಾತ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಗೆ 300 ರಿಂದ 400 ಯುಎಸ್ ಡಾಲರ್ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಹಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದವು. ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಸಂಧಾನದ ನಂತರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಲೋಚಿಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ, ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯವು ಪ್ರತಿ ಯಾತ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಗೆ ಕೇವಲ 100 ಯುಎಸ್ ಡಾಲರ್ ಮೊತ್ತದ ಏರಿಕೆಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಪ್ರತಿ ಯಾತ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಗೆ ಇದು 200 ರಿಂದ 300 ಡಾಲರ್ ಉಳಿತಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಶೋಷಣೆಯಲ್ಲ. ಬದಲಾಗಿ, ಯಾತ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಬಹುದಾದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ತಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಸುತ್ತೋಲೆಯು ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯು ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಯಾತ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಹಜ್ 2026 ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಡ್ಡಿಯಾಗದಂತೆ ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವನ್ನು ಸದುದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಗಮನಾರ್ಹವೆಂದರೆ, ಖಾಸಗಿ ಟೂರ್ ಆಪರೇಟರ್‌ಗಳು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ದರಗಳನ್ನು ಗಣನೀಯವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದ್ದು, ನಂತರ ಸುಮಾರು 150 ಯುಎಸ್ ಡಾಲರ್‌ಗಳಷ್ಟು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರಿಗೆ ಹಜ್ ಯಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಗೆಟುಕುವಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಲಭಗೊಳಿಸಲು ನಾವು ಬದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. #Haj2026 #MinorityAffairs #BhagidariSeBhagyoday @KirenRijiju @RijijuOffice @GeorgekurianBjp @RamMNK @MEAIndia @MIB_India @MoCA_GoI @haj_committee @hajmission @IndianEmbRiyadh @CGIJeddah @NMDFCIndia @mygovindia @DelhiStateHajC @UPStateHajC @KSHC_GoK @PIBMinAffairs @PIB_India @MIB_India @chanchal001 @DG_PIB @DiviSuryaSahasa @DDNewslive @DDNational @DDChandanaNews @airnewsalerts @airnews_kannada @CBC_Bengaluru

Day 1 of Haj Training Camp 2026 was successfully organized at Haj Bhavan Bengaluru marking an important step in preparing pilgrims for their sacred journey. The session was led by Janab Syed Ajaz Ahmed sab, focused on educating pilgrims in detail about the essential rituals of Haj, along with clear guidance on the do’s and don’ts to be followed throughout the pilgrimage. Practical instructions, step-by-step explanations, and important advisories were shared to ensure that every pilgrim is well-informed, confident, and spiritually prepared. The programme was closely supervised by the Chairman and officials of the Karnataka State Haj Committee, who personally ensured that all aspects of the training were conducted effectively. A coordination meeting was convened at Haj Bhavan, Bengaluru, to discuss on flight operations for Haj 2026. The meeting was chaired by Chairman Janab S. Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan alongside Haj Committee members, Executive Officer Janab Jilani Mokashi and Special Officer Janab Siddiqui Pasha, PS Janab Nayaz Ahmed were also present.of the Karnataka State Haj Committee.
