SAD NEWS💔: Farmers in Hurungwe protested after being offered as little as US$0.20 per kilogram by Tobacco buyers at Boost Africa Tobacco Auction Floors in Karoi. Angry farmers told a Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Agriculture chaired by Chivi South MP, Soul Maburutse last week. Management at the company failed to show up for Parliamentary visit after being advised about the visit a fortnight ago citing that they needed to meet the Speaker of Parliament not “junior MPs”.
