toxic indian parents and education system A lot of you will relate to this, when I was growing up, I had a friend, he was around 10 at that time. His parents used to beat him a lot, one day they threw his cycle out and it broke. Daily at 4 am I would hear him crying. And the very next hour they would pretend nothing had happened. One more friend I had, he was 2 years older than me, his father shaved his head and made him run on the road like that to humiliate him. All this was so crazy to me. Around 10 years have passed since. My sister's friend, around 6 years old, was beaten with a stick yesterday because he played for a few minutes more past his usual 6 pm. Why all this? for studies? to a 6 year old? Seriously? Is our education system that fucked. This never works. I feel bad for these children, parents don't realise how life long trauma they are giving to their child. And these children get used to it, they think it's normal, which is worse.
